Controls are nonsensical and not in line with traditional strategy games, this makes the game an absolute pain in the butt to play.

Fun combat, and quirky comedy, make an interesting first 15 minutes, but it quickly becomes dull. Only so many times I can have my carefully nurtured fleet decimated by 4 battleships before I start losing interest.

One of the better simultaneous-turns games out there thanks to the absurdist style and three-dimensional play space. Direct your ships to try and get the right angle to kill the pirate penguins attacking you, but watch out, they're doing the same to you! Somewhere between Frozen Synapse and Homeworld, but much more slapstick.

I used to play this game a tonne on XBOX 360. When I got a Gaming PC, OFC I re-downloaded it. This game is a lot of fun, I love the zany characters, creative gameplay mechanics, and it's accessibility. In regular mode, a single space adventure usually ends with your protagonist succumbing to illness after about ~20 minutes equivalent time playing. So it's quite good for quick games when you don't have long. Alternatively, hardcore mode just seems to remove the protagonist's terminal illness, so you can play the same campaign for hours. Mechanically, the game and strategies are very simple to grasp, but still allows experienced players to build a lot of depth in their skills. I love that the game will run on a potato as well. It's so lightweight, you could probably run it comfortably without any graphics adapter, lol. And it's only 86MB, which is small enough to fit on my first ever memory stick, haha. If I were deducting points, I'd like a way to save my progress within an extended gaming session so I don't just lose it all when I quit.

Painfully unintuitive controls and a requirement that you micromanage your ships orientation at all times makes what could be a fun game a slog to get through.

If you played Warhammer 40k Battlefield Gothic or Battlestar Galatical deadlock then you pretty much know this game. This is a slim down version of that, more arcade-y but equally as space tactics oriented 3d space positioning matters a lot in this game

Outrageously cute micro-sized strategy game. Fun campaign mode. Loads of animals in spacesuits. A+
