I could have rented a movie that night or bought this game. Little did I know that 15 minutes in I’d be dripping with sweat—afraid that at any moment an alligator would pop out of the Paleogene and pierce my pathetic hide with its ferocious teeth! What a thrill. What a horror. What a wonder. The fear of death and those sweet synth waves are like baking in a sauna and then plunging into ice water. So invigorating. I have now lived the life of a Florida man and died a thousand of his deaths. I appreciate my life for the gift that it is.

I had a few bucks left over in my steam wallet and decided to get this game and I think I made a pretty good choice. Its always fun unloading clips into gators and the aesthetic just brings the 80's Miami vibe to an immersive experience. I'm looking forward to the many future updates to come that will continue to make this game even better.
10/10, as a born and raised Floridian I can attest that this is 100% accurate. Reminds me of home, brought a tear to my eye. Truly inspirational. Would recommend. Thank you for making this game and all the joy it has brought me.
Made me very excited to see florida, but unfortunately I lost my meth on the way there so I had to turn around. low and behold there's a gator with a mouthfull meth that I proceded to smoke with him 10/10 would smoke meth with this gator again
This game is an experience. You have to save often and be prepared to die. I recommend it if you have some time to kill and you want to do some coke and shoot some gators.
Pretty accurate to my daily life, 10/10
I started the game out thinking how cool it was that FINALLY a developer used custom assets he actually imported into the GameGuru software. I give him a ton of praise for the effort that he put into this, but this game is a shining example of why you don't use GameGuru to make a serious game with. GameGuru is absolute trash. Yes, I get that it's a tool just like any game engine, but GameGuru is like trying to use a cheap plastic toy wrench to work on your car engine. It's NOT going to work for any real game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTot92iWmgs This game, while it's obvious that the developer tried and put a lot of work into it, is full of game breaking bugs that lead to massive frustration and a game that can't be completed. The load/save system if used has massive glitches that end up loading in more kills that you saved the game at, and this caused me to not be able to complete the game. And it's definitely not fun enough to start over and play all the way through again and try to beat it without saving it. "F that noise" GameGuru is just junk. And from what I've seen of the upcoming GameGuru MAX, it's just magnified junk that just might be even worse than the original, if that's possible. ----------------------------------- JUST A FEW OF THE MANY PROBLEMS IN THIS GAME: - Invisible walls are too numerous to count and really effect the gameplay on the boat and island level. Developer literally just spammed invisible walls all around the island with all the gators. I can only assume he did this to try and force players to walk on this stupid death trap island so they die over and over and over. - Hit detection is broken. You are forced to hit the gators perfectly and forget it if they are a foot under the water. I guess water vaporizes bullets, but if a gator gets within 30 feet of you, it's instant death. - The game forces you into water to try and lure gators to you, but you can't shoot underwater. When you get out of the water, the gator swims off as you try to equip your gun again. Stupid. - Getting eaten and insta-killed while traveling 40 mph in the boat as a gator clips through the bottom of your boat. Super fun! /end exaggeration - Saving and Loading system is broken. Save a game with 8 kills. Die and load the game back, and have 20 kills. Well that sounds fine.. except the game doesn't let you win unless you have exactly "9" kills. So your game is now impossible to beat... because of a bug. Super FUN! - Grenades do NOT work if water is anywhere near where it lands. Again, I guess water just vaporizes ammo and grenades. - Throw a grenade.. and watch it fly off 60 degrees to the left or right from where you actually threw it. And watch it explode behind you. Amazing. ..Not. - Enemy AI will get stuck behind a tree. - Snakes can clip under the ground and kill you but are impossible to see. - Ammo that can't be picked up found on the boat. What fun! - Save your game? The game just forgot what gun you had equipped. *sighs* - Mountains, trees, billboards, and plants clip in and out as if your character is really that high in the game. Except getting high might be fun. These GameGuru graphic glitches aren't fun at all. - Developer left objects in the game that should have just been deleted... such as a jiggling soda bottle on the beach and a "Do Not Enter" warning hanging in mid-air without a sign to support the words. Looks great dev! ----------------------------------- Bottom line: If you're inspired to be a game developer who wants to sell what you make, please for the sake of God.. don't use any GameGuru software.. or any software made by The Game Creators period. You're just wasting your time and effort that if spent in any legit game engine would result in much better results. ... And bottom line to anyone looking to buy a good game.. avoid any game made with any GameGuru product like the plague! You're just wasting your time and/or money as I've proven dozens of times now on my YouTube channel. Simply take a look at my GameGuru playlist to see what kind of garbage GameGuru is capable of spewing out. But THIS game is a perfect example of how even if someone uses their own assets, writes LUA code, and tries to use it to make a decent game, it's still going to be absolute TRASH in the end. I blame GameGuru more than I blame this developer in the end. I hope this dev has learned his lesson. Also note that this games "mostly positive reviews" is ridiculous. My video shows time after time after time how many game breaking bugs there are and how it's nearly impossible to honestly give this game a passing score or review. Junk produces Junk. You can't make a chocolate cake out of poop. And you can't really make a good game by using "poop" software like GameGuru either. This game proves that. My Score: a 3 out of 10. While it's better than 99% of all other GameGuru games on Steam, and I appreciate the effort by this developer.. this game is still just a broken pile of GameGuru trash. NOT RECOMMENDED. Save your money and your time. Watch what happened to me in the video above and thank me later.
