such a lovely chill game to play with friends. Especially love all the different bird designs and calls(Quail is the BEST call) can't wait for the DLC.

i had been very excited to buy this game for about a week now, but the game was honestly pretty boring and did not unfortunantly live up to the ads/reviews i've been seeing. i was so disappointed because this game looked like a blast, and it's the type of cozy game i normally gravitate to. after testing for roughly an hour, it hit me that this game is very lack luster, and i can't get the most enjoyable experience without friends (none of mine own the game), which is also disappointing due to it having the option to be fully playable solo. there's no tutorial to explain how to get better photos of birds (which is needed to progress through the game and unlock new areas on the map). the photo sorting is also very messy, and you'll be skimming through at least 15-20 prior photos just to pick the ones you want to save in the scrapbook (think of how unorganized pokopia's storage is, but with photos). this is my own little nitpick, but for a game with no proper tutorial for how to capture the best photos, it's quite disappointing to see that a DLC has already been released. but putting aside all of that, if you don't mind messy sorting, and figuring out a lot of the core gameplay elements on your own, i do completely recommend this game!! i will say that the art is so adorable, and the different bird calls are relaxing/beautiful. i will 100% consider buying this game again if it's updated to have proper tutorials/tips for capturing the best bird photos (along with possibly a feature to delete photos so i don't have to sort through a ton at once), but unfortunantly, in the end, i had to ask for a refund :( edit: grammar
