how is this game so cheap for the quality? I would've bought it at 10x the current price

Would flick again
This amazing puzzle game needs more attention. If you like sokoban games like A Monster's Expedition, Puddle Knights, or Baba Is You, definitely give this a try. Some levels can be frustrating but the vibes are too cozy to get upset at it. Haven't finished it yet but I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with it so far. Great challenge if you're looking for one.
Flicker is a very promising puzzle game with one minor shortcoming. The puzzles are around lighting fires while managing scarce resources - our little flame has limited time (moves) to live, there are some destinations (eg. matches) that don't last forever (while most candles do), and there are some more tricky elements later in the game. The audiovisuals are a hit, the game's atmosphere is brilliant, it's really pleasant to delve into the world of Flicker, and spend some contemplative puzzle solving time there. The puzzles themselves are rather good as well, although there are some weird fluctuations in difficulty at times - but that really shouldn't deter anyone. The only problem I had with the game that it doesn't do a very good job of introducing the new mechanics, so while experimenting with them is fine, some of their deeper "secrets" are not so easy to find unless you're clicking around wildly - or use the very adequate help button, which provides support step by step. All in all, Flicker is very much recommended - especially at the very low price of asking.
Pretty good and refreshing, puzzles are well designed and since they all fit on one screen they're easy to comprehend. Every few level a new mechanic is introduced and at the end it's interesting to see how things interact together. Later puzzles are bit more challenging but hint system is generous and the few times I used it I only needed to peak first 2 or 3 moves. Game took me ~5 hours to 100% but for the cheap price it's well worth it. The few nitpicks I had is that teleporters could have a better indicators on how they connect and rotating elements could use some arrows to show where they point (up vs. down). Also the game runs perfectly fine on steam deck and you could probably beat it in one afternoon on a couch
Great small puzzle game! I really enjoyed this game. It introduces new mechanics that I haven't seen before, and it mixes things up often enough to where it never felt stale to me while playing. The length feels nice too, and it doesn't overstay its welcome. The hint system is pretty basic, but it gets the job done when you need it. Also it's so cheap! Total no-brainer if you like puzzle games! I played on my Steam Deck using the touchpad, which worked really well.
I didn't understand on my own that there were levels in the big candles. Had to look that up.
Cheap game. Cool puzzles. Nice aesthetics.
