Review edited long after original posting. Check bottom of review. Pros: - Actually funny - Nice story so far - Pretty straightforward story while also offering the ability to mess around with the world as you like - If you're struggling with some tasks in the game, it recognizes that and helps to steer you in the right direction - Fast updates for day one bugs, devs for the game seemed fast to want to improve their game - Great gameplay for the price, can't find much better at this price point Cons: - A few day one bugs, they're fixed now but I still experienced them during my gameplay so I feel it's worth mentioning - There's no meaningful way to replay the game outside of replaying the action bits. I don't consider this a true con as this game is more about your initial experience, having fun, and messing around while you play through the first time, which it does extremely well. I played Flavortown off of a Quest 2 on Link. My experience was very smooth and fun. Overall this is probably the best humor I've gotten out of a game in a while. At the game's price point, I consider this a great buy and would definitely recommend people pick it up and enjoy themselves for an hour or a few messing around with it. I'm sure you'll get a kick out of this game, and I'm sure some of the devs also got a kick out of making certain bits too. I have no regrets getting this game at all and look forward to the future episodes completely! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDITED REVIEW --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I originally had a blast on this game, as well as knew one of the people working the most on this game. He was full of promises and high hopes. I unfortunately change this review to negative, as there were tons of false promises that simply never came true and this game has been abandoned. It was a really fun concept and the first bit was fun, but there's very little that ever got released despite constant promises that another installation to this game was near completion and going to be released soon after the initial release. I do not recommend this at all, false promises and no follow up ruined this. Extremely disappointing, a sham of a game.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
It's not bad at all for the price, some interesting game mechanics, but very buggy and most of the minigames are based entirely on random luck so you have to replay them like 4 times until you know which options to pick to win. and i think thats a little annoying but yeah its 6 bucks, grab it, its pretty entertaining regardless
First and last word very funny 🤣
sadly i can play as every time i load the game it drags me away from the start menu. then after trying for ten mins i finally got past that to load the first mission an find that i can not use anything i could not even open ther door to get going in the game. i really hope they fix this as it's basic stuff that should not happen. i loved the first game an it sucks that i cant enjoy this one.
A pretty funny short experience but it is extremely unfinished. The game released 5 years ago with the promise of more episodes and yet there is still just one. Some things mentioned on the store page don't exist in the game, likely parts of the planned episodes that never happened. Very unfortunate that this has been abandoned because I had a good time with it and would have loved to see more.
it was fairly alright but it was a very small game./
