Five Nights At Smog's

Five Nights at Smog is truly peak incarnate, the kind of game that just nails everything. The voice acting, the level design—it all just clicks and takes the whole experience to the next level. Honestly, this might be my favorite game of all time. The way they built up the love story between Smog and that Mexican guy? It really got to me, tugging at my heartstrings and making me believe in love again. It’s not something you expect in a game like this, but it hits hard. Every little detail feels like it was made with so much care, from the creepy atmosphere to the way the story unfolds. You just get sucked into the world, and before you know it, you’re completely hooked. All in all, I’d give it a 20/10. It’s just that good, and I can’t recommend it enough.

"Five Nights At Smog's" is a lame, abandoned Early Access ripoff of FNAF only with more poutine. It was a dismal failure, most likely because of the lame/joke premise, flipped assets, and zero amusement factor. The developers abandoned this 1 year and 4 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
