空に浮かぶ輝くオサカナ「Star Fish」をビリヤードみたいに弾いて星座を作る短編のミニマルパズル。2025/2/16 時点で日本語非対応、でも英語読めなくても割と何とかなります。 パズルそのものはカジュアルで難易度は優しいものの、2次元パズルながらレイヤーの概念があったりバレットタイムを使った微調整があるなど工夫に富んでいて、1時間程度のストーリーを最後まで飽きずに楽しめました。 あとは何よりも、かわいらしくて秀逸なピクセルアートのグラフィックやリラックス感がありながらも宇宙を感じるBGM、オサカナ天体学者 Phoebe のちょっと不思議なストーリーなど、1時間と言わずもっと浸っていたいような世界観に包まれた優しい作品でした。オススメです。

Really polished experience solving puzzles! They're straight forward but require a decent amount of patience and elegance lest the fish go crazy! I would love to see more of the same stuff perhaps in an update or subsequent game because 25 minutes was not enough for me :D

Fishtronomy is short, cute, and surprisingly polished for it's simplicity and price. In normal mode, you fling and bounce "star fish" around the night sky in order to lock them into their respective places. Each fish has a specific glowing point they belong at, but once they're there you have to try to not knock away your fish in the process of locking in the others. There's things like warp black holes and swirling ones that hold your fish still, and some levels have a key that can remove some of the toughest obstacles. I personally didn't care for normal mode much, which was fine because the game allows you to toggle back and forth between that and playing the levels in "chill mode"-- where obstacles are gone and you can't accidentally bounce your fish off their targets. The levels can get a little chaotic with your star fish bouncing rapidly across the screen, and it doesn't feel relaxing during that time unfortunately, and that's usually when I would switch back to Chill Mode. Once each fish is in place you just connect-the-dots style complete the image and then move to the next level. There's only a handful of levels in this short and sweet game puzzle game. It feels like Fishtronomy would be best suited for younger gamers looking for a dynamic element to short puzzle solving or kids trying to understand bouncing angles like you would use in a game of billiards/pool.
