Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: another game where if I did a video review, you'd see how awful the game truly is, although you get a hint of that from the store page video for sure This is a badly made experience. I have played other firework show games / experiences in VR. This is the absolute worst one. This was out-dated back in 2017 VR. I have no idea how this got released in 2023. I don't know if a bunch of students just graduated from the course build your own Unreal Engine VR experience with book material from 2016, but something is wrong. Gaze-based navigation of menus? Check. Motion controllers used mostly to teleport? Check. You can only grab one thing? Check. Press one button to auto-do multiple things? Check. You can view a fireworks show, a hot air lantern show, or fire your own fireworks (press trigger to see them auto fire). You can teleport around this one. Visuals and sounds are from 2016 mobile VR. Fireworks XR 烟花秀 is a paid VR program that is not worth buying. It worked on my Index system, looked poor, sounded poor, played poor, was barely understandable. You can view a fireworks show, a hot air lantern show, or fire your own fireworks close by. Language is Chinese and localized to English text, grammar was poor. Had no visible controllers, no way to tell what firework you are lighting. The sound for the firework show was too far away to hear when it should be heard loudly on delay. Has an instruction card on A button. Not sure why this game needed Firewall access, but it asked for it, (sus). The texture were poor. Looked like something a coding student would write, for a first project. Not worth buying at any price, should be Free only. I got a free key for this from the Steam Curator program.
