Find Room 98 offers a firendly take on the hidden object genre, steering away from traditional horror elements. The game challenges players to spot differences in meticulously crafted rooms, providing a calm and engaging experience. Pros: ✔️ Non-Horror Approach: The game provides a non-horror version of the hidden object genre, making it accessible to a wider audience. ✔️ Natural Differences: The anomalies are subtle and blend seamlessly into the environment, offering an appropriate level of difficulty. ✔️ Well-Designed Environments: The set design is detailed and visually appealing, enhancing the overall experience. Cons: ❌ Reused Assets: Assets appear to be reused from other game by the same team, which did it better. ❌ Lack of Distinctive Theme: Without the horror element, the game feels a bit lackluster; incorporating psychedelic or comical themes could have added more interest. ❌ Repetitive Differences: Occasionally, the differences feel too predictable, leading to a stale experience over time. Find Room 98 is a pleasant diversion for fans of hidden object games seeking a non-horror experience. While it excels in design and subtlety, the reuse of assets and lack of a strong thematic element may leave some players wanting more. Score: 5.5/10 anomolie detected—An enjoyable search that could use a bit more flair
Lacking in multiple ways

Summary
I'm a fan of finding anomaly type games, such as observation duty and the recent exit 8. I'm just a fan of spot the differences in general. However, I found this game to be lacking visually, a variety of anomalies, sound design and execution of the concept itself. The game has a clean aesthetic look. However, the lighting is off in various scenes, object intersecting layers can be seen. I think visually it gave me a headache; personally, I don't find it easy on the eyes. Finding door 96 there's no gratifying scene or feeling. The game lacked creativity of anomalies themselves making it far too easy and tedious. The only motivation you have is to beat the timer, which isn't hard at all. I wouldn't recommend it if you want something challenging.

1st 6:21 2nd 7:14 3rd 7:24 A simple pretty spot the differences game.
A Unique and Challenging Psychological Horror Puzzle Game! If you’re a fan of psychological horror puzzles, this game is definitely worth checking out! It’s got such a unique concept compared to other games in the genre. Instead of simply going from point A to point B, you’ll be on the lookout for anomalies, and your next move depends on whether or not you spot them. The key mechanic of choosing the right elevator based on the anomalies you encounter is a brilliant twist that keeps you on edge throughout the game. What really stands out is how challenging it is. It’s definitely one of the more difficult ones I’ve played in the genre, and that just makes the sense of accomplishment after solving a puzzle even better. It’s not just about surviving – it’s about thinking critically and carefully observing your environment. I love how the game keeps things fresh with its different styles and puzzles. It’s one of those games where each new challenge feels unique, and that really helps it stand out in a sea of horror puzzle games. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a psychological twist with their puzzles!
5/10 There are 3 levels total. The anomalies are very basic, objects disappearing or changing. Nothing unique to the anomaly genre. The game does play well, and doesn't over heat my laptop so I recommend to get on sale.
Find Room 96 captivates with stunning graphics and an engaging anomaly spotting gameplay. Its simplicity and visual allure make it a delightful experience, perfect for those seeking a visually pleasing and enjoyable gaming session.
