[H1]Why are there so many bugs again? 😣[/H1] Thank you to Happy Fish for the curator copy. This is nonetheless an impartial review. Where is the Steam “neutral” button when you need it? It honestly hurts putting this one on the not-recommended side, especially coming from Happy Fish. There’s something genuinely inventive here, but it’s buried under technical issues that turn a clever idea into a bit of a clicking fest. There are 8 levels, each with around 16 to 30-something cats to find. A good chunk are blended into the pixel art, a bit like in [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/3916110/Cats_in_Pixels_by_Louisselle/]Cats in Pixels by Louisselle[/url], while many others are camouflaged behind interactive elements or small puzzles. The pixel art itself is pretty nice too, even if a few characters feel like they wandered in from a different game. There’s a decent amount of content for the price, sound sliders are there, you can reset levels anytime, and the save system behaves properly. Achievements are clean, easy to understand, and follow normal progression, which is always appreciated. Now... the hint system. It technically works, but also kind of doesn’t. It highlights where a cat should be, but if that cat is locked behind an interaction you haven’t triggered yet, the hint just sits there mocking you. It’ll also keep pointing to the same spot until that specific cat is found, and it'll be spent uselessly if the cat is off-screen. So yes, hints can be spent for absolutely nothing and need 2-3 recharges until you find the right zone with the missing cat. The interactions themselves are where things really go haywire. Clicking near previously used items can retrigger animations over and over, sometimes stacking in weird ways. Cats and objects can appear over the very obstacles that are supposed to hide them, which completely breaks the illusion. One sub-area even counts every click with a sound, piling them up into a chaotic mess. It’s not game-breaking in a “can’t finish” way, but it constantly disrupts the experience to the point that I'm more relieved than relaxed after completing all levels. Also, worth noting that the cats that aren't linked to interactive elements often end up being just right there, in plain sight, which removes any purpose to “Find Cats”. Add the lack of zoom, and the whole thing starts feeling less like a thoughtful search and more like rapid-fire clicking until something happens especially without useful hints. I really wanted to love this one. The ideas are there, and you can see the potential for something special in the hidden cat space. But between the buggy interactions, awkward hints, and inconsistent hiding, it turns into a frustrating experience way too quickly. [h1] Проклятый мир с иишными котиками [/h1] Find Cats 6 像素猫 – это игра на поиск котиков. В игре восемь уровней, на каждом из которых нужно найти два-три десятка животинок. Часть из них просто сидит по разным углам уровней, но некоторые очень хорошо спрятаны и чтобы выманить их, нужно решить небольшие головоломки. Как я уже сказал, всего восемь уровней. Но некоторые также разделены на две-три «комнаты». Одни доступны для посещения сразу, другие нужно открыть, взаимодействовав с каким-нибудь предметом или решив головоломку. Звучит всё довольно хорошо для игр такого жанра. Но с реализацией немало проблем. И связаны они именно с отличительной чертой игры – головоломками. Когда их найти, когда надо понять как перейти на другую локацию; когда нужно найти подсказки для решения головоломок, игра превращается в пиксельхантинг. Буквально нужно хаотичено тыкать по всему экрану, надеясь, что хоть что-нибудь отзовётся на клик мышки. Игровые подсказки в этом случае не работают – они только указывают место, где спрятаны коты. А логика головоломок и переходов на другие локации совсем не очевидна. Помимо этого у игры неудобный интерфейс. Чтобы выйти в меню, вернуться в основную локацию уровня, активировать подсказу, нужно нажать соответствующую кнопку и вылезет контекстное меню, которое сильно перекрывать экран. Кнопки выхода в меню и возвращаения в основную локацию очень похожи и постоянно путаешься и выходишь в главное меню. Нет, игра не стирает прогресс уровня, но тут вылезает другая проблема. Игра обнуляет пройденные головоломки, но не их результат. То есть, перекрываются текстуры, дублируются котики и чисто визуально ломаются головоломки. Ну и ещё один баг: система подсказок перестала работать с третьего уровня. Ну и ещё один камешек хочу кинуть в визуальный стиль. Многое сделано с помощью ИИ. И это постоянно нарушает стиль уровней. В общем, Find Cats 6 像素猫 – это игра про котиков, которая пыталась интересно разнообразить игровой процесс, но не смогла это сделать хорошо и качественно. Так что рекомендовать не могу. Локации выглядят красиво и атмосферно, да и к тому же на каждой локации присутствуют свои интересные "фишки", которые смогут заинтересовать игрока. Также в игре присутствуют стим-достижения, благодаря которым мы сможем легко получить +1 идеальную игру в Стиме. В целом за свою стоимость получилась вполне годная игра. This is pixel heaven. Another short, fun hidden-object game with an interactive puzzle. You are required to find items for the cats before you can take them. The color palette of each stage is pretty, and I didn't have any problem locating the cats within the scene. [b]FANTASTIC "ESCAPE THE ROOM" KITTY ADVENTURE[/b] If you are a fan of the numerous Cat-themed Hidden Object Games, but are growing weary of the simplicity of the hunt, THIS is the game you are craving!   There are 8 levels, each with 2-3 rooms accessed by interacting with various mechanics that often require searching for clues and codes. I have to admit that I was ready to throw in the towel on the first level and call it quits before realizing it had a clear pattern of clues. The fact that there are no walkthroughs or game discussions anywhere on the net deepened my desire to conquer this puzzle! In fact, I will be creating a walkthrough guide after completing this review because I don't want anyone to throw in the towel after getting stuck on a door code or an overlooked interaction. You will notice a blue triangular arrow in the bottom right corner. When clicked, the stats appear to show the number of kitties you'll be tasked with finding in that particular chapter, including those within subsequent rooms. There is also a Delete button to reset progress and a Hint button that highlights a missed kitty or area where a task is involved, with a circle. If there are no kitties or tasks shown, that indicates it's time to explore further.   You'll also notice that there is a green return arrow option and a door with an exit arrow. This is the most confusing part for me because most games use a return arrow to exit the current room and return to the main scene, but it's actually the Exit Door icon you should use. The green return arrow takes you back to the main scene selector.    Some kitties are clearly visible, while others are cleverly blended into the scenery or are hidden in or behind another object. A few of the kitties are rather needy and require a specific object to appease them (indicated by a thought bubble when you click on them). Pay attention to this object, because they may be asking for a specific color, shape, or combination of items that may require interacting with other objects to concoct a specific item.   Most doors require you to enter a 3 or 4-digit code by searching for clues related to numbers, such as clicking bells and listening for the number of chimes, or deciphering clues from color-coded block graphs.   When you first enter a new room, you will notice that some objects can be interacted with. You may need to click buttons, replicate patterns, complete pathways using various movable objects, and search for keys or tools that can be used to help you progress and expose more adorable kitties!   My only complaint with the gameplay is that the "Escape" mechanics get progressively easier to solve in the last 3-4 chapters. It's almost as if the developers ran out of ideas or rushed to complete the final chapters because the last 3 chapters are mostly interaction-based quests rather than solving clue-based puzzles.   I enjoyed the previous Find Cats games, but they didn't have the "Escape the Room" mechanics like this game has.
