About
Final Knight is a strategy-driven action RPG inspired by the world of Dungeons & Dragons.
In a classic fantasy setting, players form a party using a wide range of weapons, spells, artifacts, and items to face massive bosses that threaten the world.
Outside of your directly controlled character, allies act automatically.
Take advantage of the Tactical Command (time-stop) system, inspired by CRPGs, to pause the battle and issue orders with precision.
Seamlessly switch between characters in real time—taunt enemies as the Warrior, unleash Meteor as the Wizard, perform a Backstep as the Rogue, or cast healing spells as the Cleric—chaining them together into powerful combos.
Choose 4 characters out of 9 distinct classes to form your party.
Each class fulfills a fundamental role—Tank, Damage Dealer, or Support—and can further specialize through leveling, advanced job changes, and stat growth.
With unique feats from equipment and the Formation system that alters party positioning, you can craft and execute your own strategies.
Every party member can progress in multiple ways:
Advanced job changes
Unlocking unique feats
Mastery upgrades
Crafting and fusing equipment
Gear enhancement
Discovering bonds between characters
Your team evolves endlessly along the paths you choose.

Take on raid-style battles against powerful bosses.
Break their weak points, harvest materials, and forge new equipment.
When enemies are staggered, unleash devastating combos by combining strategy with precise controls to bring them down.
■ Play offline 2-player co-op, experiment with skill synergies, and discover new ways to combine abilities with a friend.

everything is exceptional except it's a roguelike game
you have to turn your steam cloud off or else the game doesnt work. Poor programing
You can feel the passion and love put into this game. Its like castle crashers meets dnd shadows over mysteria but with rouge like components. Its not a long game but a very fun one with ALOT of heroes to choose from. One of those "i dont have much time to game but i want to feel like a Greek god for 30mins" type of games. I love it. ps works great on the Steam deck!
I've followed this game for years. This game is definitely a crazy mess of so many different mechanics and ideas, of the Mystara D&D beat 'em ups, of Dragon's Crown, of Monster Hunter, of Roguelites, MMOs, all shoved into one passion project that has changed so much over the years and yet retrained its identity. For so long have I played this game as the one where the Paladin Lady with a big sword has a cooldown move that gives everyone's attacks lightning zaps and it's lasted to this day and is still satisfying. I don't normally like roguelites all that much but this one feels so much closer to a normal beat 'em up. There are some things that'll feel weird, there's a grind, there's some kind of grind that's hard to even understand because there's like 50 different progression systems one for the classic mode and one for the arcade. There's a lot of loot. There's a lot of frustratingly little armor sets and skills, but they have enough differences to be meaningful. (The hours I have on the game is just on the early access release, the demos were up a lot longer) I wish the dev nothing but the best. I think online co-op would help a lot. EDIT: Unrecommended due to AI generation usage - at least for the intro video on steam. I stand by what I said about the game at the time, though, and I really hope the game improves in the future. There are still currently too many systems without too much variety and I feel like the game still rapidly changes.
