very addictive and fun
Final Fantasy XIV Online is without a doubt one of the best MMO experiences I have ever had to date. FF14 is absolutely superb in both storytelling and world building. You begin your journey in Eorzea and set out on a epic quest as the Warrior Of Light, You meet plenty of friends and even plentier foes! You also can team up with actual friends and people from across the world and tackle tons of amazing content with other Warriors Of Light. The story in this game is without a doubt its best part, Storytelling on par with mainline entries in the series such as FF7 and FF15 and FF16 so on and so forth. Naoki Yoshida or better known in the community as Yoshi P is the amazing leader on this project after reviving it from absolute ruin back in 2013, Ever since then its been flourishing and thriving with one of the best MMO communities out there! Every group has its bad eggs and its not perfect but its still 99% of the time one of the most wholesome and cozy MMO Communities to date. The characters and class designs are incredible as well as the voice work (I played in English though I have been told the Japanese VAs also did a fantastic job!) FF14 truly is an unforgettable experience! The music also is to die for in this title Masayoshi Soken did the amazing music for this title as well as FF16 and knocked it out of the park for both titles! This man has been pulling at our heartstrings with his beautiful melodies the entire time and I wouldn't want it any other way! I fell in love with the world and story and the characters and how they truly feel like they have become my friends throughout all these years. Its relaxing to log in and see their faces and hear their words and fight at their sides. These companions are some of the best in any game of its genre. The Content in FF14 is also excellent! I wont lie it has a slower start A Realm Reborn and the beginning of this tale is slower and can be a hurdle to overcome for some newer players but its rich and full of world building and setup for much later in the expansions when things truly reach their peak! The gameplay is your usual tab target MMO with tons of cool classes and options to learn and enjoy all themed around the super cool Final Fantasy Job system seen in previous titles! The Free Trial also is currently the best on the market offering infinite playtime up to level 80 with minor restrictions (market board and some social features) and also offers the base game and all expansions up to the CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED Shadowbringers expansion (at the time of writing this) and yes you read this correctly COMPLETELY FREE! All you gotta do is sign up and you can play as much as you'd like and explore Eorzea! In conclusion Final Fantasy 14 is an incredible experience and I believe everyone should absolutely give this wonderful beautiful game a try! You WILL NOT REGRET IT!
great game long game never get board of the game always something to do even in end game-
Half of this game is free, and the other half is damn fine nonsense. I recommend checking in every couple years to see how the story has progressed, or just do what I do and listen to the soundtrack until you break down and resub. Definitely the best game-with-a-chocobo-in-it on the market, and the only reason Square Enix deserves any money, ever.
"Remember us. Remember that we once lived."
