Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
12 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

12 on sale3 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 3 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 12 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Great game 1st time player
inspired by my friend candehh to play this game on June 24 2026 i have been so addicted to this game since June 24 2026 that i now have 16041 hours in this game as of June 24 2026. pls come play pvp frontlines on primal
After 65 hours of game time (I know the time says otherwise I played when the game first came out), I only just got out of the base game and get to experience post ARR content, for most games you look at that time spent and are like wow thats awesome, but an issue I found was about 65% of the content was unfun and the same repetitive fetch quests, combined with class and dungeon mechanics that are NOT player friendly, there was multiple instances where I could not progress due to X thing being a requirement but no where was it shown to me that X quest/thing was required it would just mix into the sea of other Blue+ symbol icons (example the crystal spire or whatever questline, no where does it state the name of that questline anywhere so I guess you are just supposed to know or something plus the area the quest icon is located in is a place you've already been out in timbuktu so theres NO chance you would even notice it as it wasnt there initially and theres never been a reason to go back out there), not to mention ALOT of the content forces you todo dungeons/raids to progress which again on the surface level isnt to bad except when you take into account that NO ONE PLAYS THOSE DUNGEONS/RAIDS there was multiple times I was just stuck twiddling my thumbs in an hour long queue simply to progress the MAIN STORY its absurd, ALOT of the quests also require you to "talk to npc" *npc moves 5 feet* "talk to npc" repeat like 10 times in a single mission there is unironically so much unnecessary padding in this game its absurd, not to mention (speaking only on the base game) the story is terrible literally just friendship is magic thats it nothing cool or interesting and throw in a like 15 minute mandatory unskippable cutscene its insane So end notes the game is not Consumer friendly or employed person friendly, you either throw all your freetime at this game or none at all, because if you try to do it an hour at a time every day it would take you 3 full months basically just to get somewhere and feel like you can actually play the game, in contrast to other mmos like WoW, where once an expansion comes out you can just GO to it and you fully get access to all the classes excluding the most recently released one unless you bought the dlc and can just go through those expansions and feel fulfilled while doing it it is so much better, not to mentio Final Fantasy 14 online actually screws over its long standing returning players (say you played when the game first came out if you decide to come back today not only do you HAVE to buy the subscription but you wont get access to ANY of the expansions or DLCS, where as actual new players get all the expansions/dlcs (upto the most recent one) completely for free FORCING the new players to pay for the most recent expansion just to get access to the same content brand new players get ourtight ON TOP of a months sub) also they have XP gear and expansions skips in game as a paid addon (except for a single ring) where as again in wow you can just goto chromie and change what content you are in whenever you like needless to say if you are looking for an mmo with some cute outfits sure this game is good for that but the sheer amount of tedium with it completely cancels out pretty much any fun you might have with it 3/10 for such a big IP they can do so much better and you as the consumer 100% should put their money to something else
please play frontlines pvp i like it come primal famfrit gg
I just bought the current expansion after a 1-2 year hiatus, my ancient square enix account doesn't recognise my password for some reason, easy fix, reset password procedure done, account access still denied. Tried again, it says too many attempts after not recognising my new password twice, locked out of trying again. Account name visible on login page as a locked in name, password not accepted regardless. Due to account name lock, i'm both locked out of playing on a new account and locked out of my old one. That's unfortunate, I thought this type of problem was resolved after the 1990s, i'll contact customer service asap, this review won't change until my account is returned. Square Enix isn't broke and makes money so it's weird that the website isn't updated to the current century and account management methods are still slow, they still occasionally struggle with accepting money AND giving permission to play the game, there always seems to be an issue with one or the other, the former was an issue from time to time until this game became available on steam, the latter may require a third party too at this point.
Could never get into MMOs but this game grabbed me. The free trial is amazing and lets you play and experience pretty much all the game has to offer outside a few things. Highly recommend
