Reviews
Fill Fill is a puzzle game developed by Alexis Clemente and published by AleC Games that embraces a simple concept and builds an engaging experience around it. At its heart, the game challenges players to connect matching colored points across a grid while completely filling the available space. Although the premise sounds familiar to anyone who has played connection-based logic puzzles before, Fill Fill introduces additional mechanics that make its stages more interesting and strategically demanding than they initially appear. The game's strongest quality is its accessibility. The rules are easy to understand within minutes, allowing players to jump directly into solving puzzles without a lengthy learning process. Early levels act as a natural introduction to the mechanics, gradually teaching players how paths interact and how the board should be approached. This gentle onboarding creates a welcoming experience for newcomers while establishing a foundation for the more demanding challenges that appear later. As the campaign progresses, Fill Fill expands upon its core formula through the inclusion of special elements. Certain mechanics alter colors, forcing players to reconsider routes and plan several moves ahead. Other features, such as bridge systems, create opportunities for paths to cross or interact in ways that add another layer of complexity. These additions prevent the gameplay from becoming repetitive and ensure that each new group of puzzles introduces fresh ideas. Instead of simply increasing board size or adding more colors, the game continually evolves its design to keep players engaged. Visually, Fill Fill follows a clean and minimalist style that complements the puzzle-focused nature of the experience. The interface is uncluttered, colors are easy to distinguish, and puzzle layouts remain readable even when multiple paths occupy the board. This clarity is essential in a logic game where every move matters. The straightforward presentation allows players to focus entirely on solving puzzles rather than navigating unnecessary visual distractions. The result is a calm and relaxing atmosphere that pairs well with the thoughtful gameplay. Another positive aspect is the balance between challenge and accessibility. Some puzzles can become surprisingly intricate, especially when multiple mechanics are combined, but the game includes a hint system to help players who find themselves stuck. Rather than completely removing the challenge, hints provide guidance that encourages players to continue thinking through the solution. This feature makes the game approachable for casual audiences while preserving the satisfaction that comes from solving difficult puzzles independently. The inclusion of multiple visual themes adds a welcome touch of variety throughout the experience. While these themes do not alter gameplay, they help maintain a sense of freshness during extended play sessions. Steam achievements further encourage completionists to fully explore the game's content and tackle every challenge available. These additions may be modest, but they contribute to a more polished overall package. Fill Fill does not attempt to revolutionize the puzzle genre, and players looking for an elaborate story or extensive progression systems may find its scope somewhat limited. Its focus remains firmly on delivering a collection of well-designed logic challenges. Fortunately, it succeeds in that objective. The game understands what it wants to be and executes its ideas effectively through carefully crafted puzzles and steadily increasing complexity. For fans of relaxing brainteasers, Fill Fill offers a satisfying blend of accessibility, challenge, and thoughtful design. Its clever use of color-based mechanics, clean presentation, and steadily evolving puzzles create an experience that remains enjoyable from beginning to end. Developed by Alexis Clemente and published by AleC Games, it stands as a worthwhile choice for players who appreciate logic games that reward patience, observation, and careful planning. Rating: 6/10
Version française en-dessous. I bought the pack (Swipepi, Fill Multicolor, Fill Fill and ARROW). And I am very satisfied with this purchase (good investment). These games are very relaxing and allow me to disconnect when I need to (I focus solely on the game and even feel like I'm getting smarter!). I must admit that I quickly became addicted, and now I play every night (it helps me disconnect from my often very stressful days). There are hundreds of levels for each game (if not thousands—I haven't finished the games yet), and as soon as I finish, I feel like I'm going to start them again. A must have. J'ai acheté le pack complet (Swipepi, Fill Multicolor, Fill Fill and La flèche).
Easy recommendation. It's not only pleasant to look at, it's equally pleasant to handle. The interface is surprisingly polished, well thought out, intuitive, impeccable (rare professionalism on display.) The puzzles themselves are exactly what I expected, relaxing even when involved thinking is required. Quantity is also on offer, so I'll be on it for a few hours more.
