I rarely review games. However this game is exceptional in every way shape and form. I put off reviewing and playing it for a while, that was on par with some of the biggest mistakes of my life. The music is excellent, the dialogue is incredibly witty, and the art style is completely unique. This game should not be free I would easily pay $15 dollars for this game. The creator clearly put their heart and soul into it. FIL is an Inde master piece.

FIL是一款比较传统的RPG游戏，玩家扮演一台叫FIL的机器人，要召集伙伴拯救太阳系。 游戏画面比较粗糙，但是怪异的手绘有时候反而跟剧情荒诞搞怪的风格意外很搭。 战斗是大家深恶痛绝的暗雷+站桩回合，虽然有些敌人需要特定的战术，但是总体上来说比较枯燥乏味，主角也没有装备什么的，提升战力完全靠练级，小怪种类比较少，BOSS大部分是看你药备得够不够。 好在剧情确实基本上能撑住场子，而且有些地方还在整蛊玩家。比如有条路上有个修路的标志，提示禁止通行，但是你走下去会完成一个循环，回到游戏开始的第一张图，然后你就需要把前面的图都重新走一遍……再比如飞船上有台电脑，你调查之后会提示上面有个叫FIL的游戏你要不要玩，如果选玩会告诉你“你已经在玩这个游戏了”，如果选不玩，经过再三确认后游戏会直接把你踢回主界面（要是没存盘你就跟我一样捶地吧）……还有像有个地方NPC问你密码，你需要在游戏里字母表选择输入，如果你图省事都打了大写，NPC会抱怨说“你不要这么大声，想让全世界人都知道密码吗！”（英文全大写通常表示把这个词喊出来）。 目前3个多小时我水星还没有打完，不知道后面剧情还有多少。 如果你英文还不错，能接受这个画面和踩雷回合战斗的话不妨玩一玩。 This game takes the form of a traditional JRPG, with invisible enemy encounters and a turn based battle system. You play the role of a robot named FIL, to gather companions and save the solar system. The graphics aspect of the game seems to be crude at first sight but it well fits the surreal, ridiculous and fun scenarios of the game. The battle feels tedious after some time, because the types of enemies are limited and your characters don't have equipment and can only become more powerful by leveling up (which requires grinding of course). However, the scenarios and dialogues are fun to read and the characters are interesting. Three and a half hours into the game, I'm still in mercury, so I guess the whole plot will be quite long. I will update my review when I finish (or abandon) the game in the future. At this point, I do recommend this game, if you can tolerate the not-so-pleasant-looking skin and the a little old fashioned battle system.
