with only a few minutes in, the game is really cool, but the controls need some work, the game is too fast pace to have such a clunky and slow targeting system auto targeting the nearest enemy would work far better and having a dedicated block button would also be better than walking the opposite direction like a 2D fighter, it just doesn't fit in this fast pace style of a game, combo system is really fluid though and honestly im enjoying the game, but i would tweak the controls to allow for a more fluid control over the player character, adding a parry system would be pretty cool too which would require a dedicated block button, i dont see a need for a second power attack button just seems unnecessary, all in all the game has potential, definitely a little hidden gem
cool art design cool combat and fast and deadly! good work devs and one more thing tho its the blocking mechanism in the game its really hard to do do you think can improve that by just adding it like a easier method to block
Insanely fun gameplay! This game has a bright future! Its combat system strikes a perfect balance between depth and complexity. Usually, most top-down games have simplified gameplay, resolving everything with a single click, sometimes even feeling like "auto-pilot" where you just move the character toward the enemy. This game is the complete opposite, being far more complex than typical titles in this genre. The gameplay has a depth similar to a fighting game but with unique adaptations, not as demanding as an online competitive title. Its complexity is just right to make playing it a true pleasure. The soundtracks that play during gameplay are fantastic, adding even more immersion to the brutal combat. This is one of those games you open to play for a few minutes, getting straight to the action without much fluff, and suddenly hours have flown by. And yes, even with somewhat complex gameplay, you can make your character incredibly powerful by crafting a good build. But that doesn’t make the game boring or too easy: even if you one-shot an enemy, you can still die if you make big mistakes in combat. I love how the game balances difficulty—it doesn’t become too easy when you create a strong build, yet you feel rewarded for building it, noticing the difference in gameplay right from your first build. This game has huge potential for the future if the developers decide to expand it with a story mode, maybe even with multiple sagas, or other game modes. It would be a mix of Doom’s frantic combat with fighting game mechanics. I recommend it to players who enjoy fast-paced combat that relies a bit on your skills to master the game’s gameplay.
