Fields of Mistria

Been looking at this game since it came out in EA but waited for the full release to get into it. Now that I have completed the ''main'' story I feel like I can write a review. Out of all the Farming sims/Life sims and similar games I have played I would say Fields of Mistira is probably in my top three favourite ones. Price wise the game is very much worth it for the time you spend. And I look forward to more updates being added to the game. That said, there were some things I took note of as I played both good and bad. Some of the more notable ones are No good way of keeping track of liked gifts when they are highlighted in pink. It should simply show up in the list of liked/loved gifts rather than be something you need to remember or write down Early game inventory and chests/sorting can be very tedious at the start of the game while not getting that much better later on. Having more options for sorting and moving items around would help a lot Letting you buy from stores even when the shopkeeper is not there was a feature I was very happy to see. orbs dropped from trees take too much time to spawn, often resulting in a loss as you are farming wood. While on the topic of wood, I will also point out that farming wood is much more tedious than farming stone, especially for how much is needed for quests/crafting. It would be nice to have a log splitter or something of the like to let you get more wood. conversations where a time is stated still say PM and AM when playing with 24 hour mode on After the first year, there is noticeable repeat dialogue. I do however expect this to be helped once more updates are done. There is noticeable lag/freeze when opening inventory treasure chests found from fishing, quests, or museum rewards. Animals sometimes get stuck on toys/playsets when the bell is set to call inside. Thankfully this does not seem to give you the penalty of leaving them outside and seems to only be a visual issue. Fish schools spawned close to land can have clipping issues that make them look like they have been cut in half With how many insects there are to catch, it really could have been its own skill tree. I very much hope a future update will add one. Hovering over the list of liked/loved gifts should tell you the name of said gift. Being able to date every candidate without being locked out of conversations is a good way to show off their content and makes picking the person you want to marry feel extra special.
