Brilliant!
Another lovely entry in the cozy farming game genre. Fields of Mistria takes very obviously lots of inspiration from both Stardew Valley and Runes Factory, while managing to forge its own identity. As usual, you can follow the main story or do pretty much anything you want at your own pace, nothing groundbreaking here. I appreciate the game has lots of QoF features that make playing it a smoother experience (compared to vanilla Stardew for example). The thing I love the most about FoM is how alive the town feels; with this type of games, after a while you start noticing how robotic the NPCs can be, but here there's so much variety: the townspeople like to hang out with each other, they gossip, play games and, during the summer, they can even decide to ditch work to go relax at the beach! If there really is a set schedule in the background, the game is very good at making it seem random/organic. The game is VERY queer, and proudly so. You can even transition and change your pronouns at any time (and there are enby options)! I'm looking forward to the updates!

This game is really fun and I found it really beginner friendly. I found lots to do.
This game is pretty fantastic. Lots of dialog from the townsfolk, they feel more alive than most other games of this type. Having a jump move for combat was pretty cool and unexpected. The color scheme and art is great, it really reminded me of old school anime. It really kept me involved and drawn in for my entire playthrough. The town was a decent size, the rebuilding of the town was fun and enjoyable, as was exploring and coming to love the town. I would say its top 3 in this genre and should be played by anyone who loves farming games. Some negative things that are pretty minor in terms of them negatively affecting my gameplay and completion of the game. - The mine exploration was a bit rough due to the seals every 20 levels that slow you down a bit your first time, but it also felt rough because of how quickly the day goes by (i know it can be adjusted). - I did not complete the museum due to how random it is and how large it is. I like that its segmented by areas, but it can be crazy to find certain things sometimes (see next point) - I felt like a couple of the seal requirements were particularly difficult (I hate you, Smoke Moth and Firesail Fish). Once I was past the seal, they showed up non stop but before I cleared it? Couldn't be found for days and weeks in game. Also, making it that two specific characters require 8 hearts to get past another seal is just riidculous. While I wouldn't say I was giving gifts every day to characters, I did try to talk to them and these two were ones that I actually cultivated relationships with and it was still quite the grind. - There seems to be something off with the jumping in the mines. I found a lot of times that even trying to jump left>right or up>down (or vice versa) that it was really inconsistent in how easy it could be. sometimes I almost had to go diagonal even when I shouldn't have had to just to get across holes. - Sprinklers are really far into the game and it seems like it really shouldn't be. - There is some weird pacing for the quests. I like that there's a request board, and that you upgrade it to get weekly 'harder' quests (all gathering), but why is it that late game allows you to unlock weekly cooking and hunting requests? it feels like they should have been unlocked earlier....and they seem messed up. I got a quest to kill 20 green sap monsters which is the first tier of that monster, but was able to clear the quest killing the last tier of that type of monster. - I know it is helpful for the gathering of hay/grass seed/rock/lumber, but it really feels like the regrowth rate on the farm is excessive. For example, later in the game when I was just skipping a day here and there, the entire farm would be littered with way more stuff than it should have been. - Animals really aren't done well. They don't spawn materials unless you let them out and put them back in, they can get over fences (which should keep them out) and the automatic feeder doesn't use materials when feeding them in the coop/barn even if they are left there for weeks on end. Just felt like it was either bugged or needs some touching up. All in all, really minor things in terms of affecting my play. Nothing game breaking, no crashes, just minor annoyances. I would put it near the top for games I have completed this year, just a great experience.
Fun and good
이제 스듀 안 하고 이거 하면 됨 훨씬 재미있다. 게임 야발 예뻐죽겠네
I absolutely love the casual gaming experience this game provides. The different outfits and hairstyles are fun to play around with, and there are plenty of furniture and decoration options to create unique interiors and farm styles. I invested far too much time collecting the different skins for all the farm animals but they're all so cute its worth it. I do, however, wish there were more interactive scenes with the non-romance NPCs. Overall a great experience, and I will be playing more.
Fields of Mistria combines the best elements of various cozy games, while solving common pain points. If you're considering the game, go buy it! You will almost certainly like it!
