8/10 everything is nice only problem is not friendly for our cpu and graphic card FYI:4070 sometimes still went 5fps
The movement is great, planting both feet on the ground to activate magic sense detection while timing it to glide and check routinely between weaving different spells becomes addictive and there's so many classes/game mode variations that I had to stop myself from becoming consumed by the game. Within less than the first 3 hours, I could reverse engineer enemy techniques and surpass them entirely. In the first 10 hours I made spells sentient and even use some of the jank mixed with various spells to alter the very fabric of each instanced world or I can just fly high towards the skybox and summon a massive meteor to wipe the map clean of enemies. The rewritting time/history feature along with the way the timeline matches your actions in each part of the world scratches that Isekai itch. There's nothing like it, TO THIS DAY! I'll play it again after completing story modes of other games before I get sucked back into this masterpiece.
非常好玩,很可惜没有中文,看不懂任务描述,只能进去用法术乱轰,法术特效挺帅的,就是不知道咋回血。 希望官方能出中文 We need Chinese
A great sandbox
ONLY get this if you are REALLY bored and want to throw some fireballs around. Game is ok for it's age, but gets boring quickly. I couldn't progress because the continue button didn't work after 4 encounters. The AI is very dumb and world too basic.
My perspective as a father with a kid and 2 Jobs. Look this game isn't perfect, but it is extremely fun. Especially when you can play it in short sessions (or long ones if your kid and wife are asleep) and you can get a lot out of those sessions if you are just playing the game. Does the game do a good job at explaining all of its systems? No. Are there clear and really specific ways to exploit the games systems to get a god level character by the end of the second run? Yes. Are there "clear favorites" amongst the builds that are possible in this game that the game itself slightly forces you towards? Yep, absolutely. It is definitely not a perfect game. But it is a game that, right now, I am really really really enjoying. I am sad that development of this game won't continue and Im sad that the devs never really figured out modding for this game, as I think this game could have easily survived far beyond its time if the devs did figure that out. But, the game is still extremely fun. It is bare bones ... but that is for a reason. Some people don't really understand the "cost" that comes with destructible environments in any form. It's hard for any pc to be able to calculate how much a building is destroyed when its getting hit with 7 gigantic meteor strikes that are surrounded by thousands of particle effects and even other npcs that might be setting off similar spells. And this game is no different. Simply put - Fictorum is a game about using magic to annihilate your opps in creative and destructive ways. The game allows you a nearly limitless amount of possible spells and combination of spells that could VERY EASILY CRASH THE GAME AND EVEN YOUR COMPUTER at the cost of the game not looking like the most high fidelity game on the market. I sorta think about this game in the same vein as the Just Cause series or the Mercenaries series. All 3 of these games interact with this distinct tension - on one hand - If you give the player the ability to break the game using the games on engine to do so, the players will break the game. breaking the game becomes the "meta narrative" which is reinforced by the giving the characters more in game ways to break the game. The trade off is quite literally that the game breaks alot. You can call that an un-optimized game, or even a "lazy developer who puts creative ideas around the simple idea of destroying things" but you can't take away from the fact that whatever hardware you have, you will probably always run into a few game breaking glitches because that is what the game WANTS you to do. on the other hand - The game is designed to be played in a specific way, and one of those ways if for the player NOT to be able to break the game. I think of the technical marvel that is GTA 5. You might look at that game and think you have absolute freedom and can do whatever you want, but really you dont. GTA is an extremely controlled and manipulated sandbox that is designed to maximize player engagement with little disruption in that engagement as possible. It's bad business if GTA is designed in a way where the player is influenced to break the game because guess what ... the player will break the damn game l0l I say all of this to remind you that, this is game is more about FUN then it is about PRECISION. You should intend on this game crashing. You should know that the longer and farther that you get into the game the more the game will crash. I just now crashed the game because I created a meteor strike that has a huge blast radius and TONS of particle effects, right on top of my character, while looking straight into the meteor strike, just because I wanted to destroy some other wizards that were inside of the house i was standing on top of. Did I know it was going to crash my game? Yep lol. Did I have so much damn fun while doing it? Absolutely!!!! And as a father that doesn't totally have a lot of time for gaming, that is often what I am seeking from these types of experiences.
This feels like one of those games you'd see characters in a disney sitcom play on an xbox with playstation controllers
