very fun game which gives vibes of mario party mixed with pokemon stadium. Even better that its a free game, seems like the devs really cared with it too!

"Fi-Knight Kingdom" is a failed attempt to make a local multiplayer boardgame/RPG hybrid, I guess at best this is a kind of cutesy version of Talisman (which you can also play on Steam, so the bar set by the competition was very high). The RPG elements here look deep enough and might even be sufficient to capture an audience... but the incredibly weak technical implementation deterred the vast majority of gamers on Steam. Developers must always be aware that gaming is a visual medium. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals, with even uglier pixel textures on them, and I think these poor graphics are the primary reason this game failed. If the visuals were better this could have even succeeded on the app stores, but alas, the graphics were phoned in. It's 2024, games should not look worse than games from 1992. The 3D assets were taken from KenneyNL, but, being a free product, and the developer correctly crediting the asset creator (an unfortunately rare thing when an amateur developer does the right thing with respect to asset creators), this does not qualify as an asset flip... this is a genuinely, ethically made game. Bizarrely, the developer doesn't know what a PC is and deliberately disabled all mouse control for the game. Developers should try to understand what platform they are developing for. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 8 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Played it by myself with only 10 turns on the first area and it's honestly very underrated. It is a nice idea although, there's a few things I would like to add. I wish you could make the text faster maybe in options or anything or just skip / make it faster once pressed. While I was playing by myself, I noticed at the end, there were a few glitches. For the bonus orbs, it said gibberish at the 2nd line. I'm positive this isn't supposed to happen but it was funny when it happened honestly. This game would be really good and worth your time. What I hope to see in next updates is maybe Multiplayer instead of Local Multiplayer. It would be cool to see a multiplayer room just to hang out with steam friends and other stuff. I would definitely play this again but I feel like Text Speed Options is a good option to start off with on the next updates (hopefully there are more updates) and maybe even a CPU version where you can just play against bots! I wouldn't rate this game out of 10 yet since I've not played with people yet but right now, I would rate it a 7.4/10 (maybe even a 8.4 but I'm honestly not sure yet. I would need to play more of this to rate this but honestly, love the concept.)
I wish there was more, a cheap DLC for 2 bucks with a map and a char would be great. enjoy playing it here and there and with some love it could be great. But for now its worth the Bucks.
a simple fun game especially if you like RPGs or board games, I wish there was more I would pay for DLC if they had any.
I wish it was multiplayer online and it was ranked play. I could see it becoming an e sports game.
fun game like a shorter version of dokapon kingdom
