I recently received this game for free from BFG_Skipper. It is a cute, point and click comedy adventure game with arcade clicker and shooter minigames where a young boy Milo was taking his dog Bear out for a walk when his dog was suddenly abducted by a robot. As Milo pursues the fleeing robot which was carrying out instructions from the CEO of Embark Technologies Bernard St. Mark to capture all dogs within the city for an unknown purpose, Milo will meet a colourful and entertaining cast of funny and unusual characters which consist of Embark Technologies' robots, clacking skulls, a trio of singing mice, a giant alligator, a young girl Iris, a bird with a huge appetite for coconuts, Pirate Boy and a gopher McDivot before finally meeting Bernard at the top of his skyscraper tower. The game has an in-game strategy guide to help with the game and most of the achievements. Although most of the available arcade minigames can be skipped for those who prefer to play a pure point and click adventure game, the arcade minigames are fun to play and most are of more or less within short duration of less than 10 minutes, whether to play for fun or to attempt to go for the most rare achievement (Team Player) which require scoring a total of 280 million points across the entire game where your points are scored from 5 different arcade minigames, getting 42 dog tags, 49 achievements and completing the entire game within a certain time over at least 2 playthroughs. Each playthrough will require approximately 1-3 hours to finish. Achievements are more or less reasonable and all of them can be obtained after several attempts. Some of the achievements associated with the arcade minigames seem to require skill, strategy and luck. It would be nice to allow casual players who enjoy pure point and click adventure games a good chance at completing the game by giving more points for the clicker minigame.
The second scene in the clicker minigame MOHAI Ride has constantly spawning and respawning sea creatures and birds which can enable you to score an infinite amount of points at a rate of approximately 500k points a minute for those who have trouble scoring enough points for the Team Player achievement.
Overall, recommended for those who like point and click adventure games with a cute and funny storyline and nice cartoon animations. Hope to see more nice games with easy/reasonable achievements being released in future.
It's a short game about a boy searching for his dog. It's not reallly a point-and-click adventure; the point and click is to get you from one arcade section to the next. And I'm not really into the arcade sections: they are simply a lot of mashing the mouse button over and over again until you win, and if you don't mash fast enough, you'll die and have to start your mashing over. It's a decently cute story, but I'd prefer to avoid the RSI strain on my mouse hand. I'll recommend it for the cute concept, but if you're not into arcade minigames, you'll find it a bit borning. Original First Impressions: The first thing I noticed is that the boy doesn't emote. He has a blank face even when he's supposedly laughing happily while playing with his dog. And that immedeately put me off: how am I supposed to be invested when the boy isn't even invested? Even the apparent villian introduced shortly after has more emotions on his face than the boy does! (Also, I'm not a dog person, so the game's obession with dogs isn't going to automatically tug at my heartstrings.) It also doesn't bode well for a point-and-click puzzle game when the game forces you to open its in-game strategy guide as part of its tutorial. Only some of the things that are clickable on screen result in a mouse pointer cursor. And make sure you don't cancel out of the first minigame game too early, or it won't give you the thing that advances the storyline.
Exellent game with its sad and happy moments. I got this game because i have longed for a dog for years and i just go a refil in my steam wallet. I love bear and would kill to have a dog like that!
找到并打开GameSettings.xml文件; 3.将其中的'AUTO'改成对应语言的英文缩写,中文是'CN'
Having received this game for free in exchange for a honest review I wasn't sure what to expect, or how to "value" the game. (Money Spent > Playtime/Enjoyment). Below I do my best to give a fair and honest review, the same as I would if I were a typical consumer. I went in with an open mind after seeing the screenshots and thinking the art direction looked very beautiful. Not only were my expectations exceeded, I must say i enjoyed my experience much more than I first invisioned. The game is a wonderful mix of Point and Click Adventure mixed with puzzle elements. A little clunky in parts but for the most part very well done and not like any game I have played before. The puzzle bits were not overly complicated and gave a feeling of satisfactoin when you solved them. The art, sound, story and game design are very well done. Taking you on an emotional ride through the relationship of a young boy and his dog. As to not spoil anything I will just say you proceed through fully interactive set pieces with many hidden secrets and fun things to discover. As well as the main gameplay there is also "mini" type game arcades. These were actually fun and made me want to keep playing them. The only one I felt could use a touch of improvement was the pirate ship game. It was easy to lose your mouse cursor and not be able to hit the target at times, but not a huge problem overall. In the end it was a great experience albeit a bit short. With the hidden secrets and fun game play I plan to revisit this for another run to try for a 100 percent completion. In my opinion worth it at full price due to the great design and care the developers put into this game. Catching this game on sale would just be a win/win. Strongly recommend to fans of Point and Click style games with some puzzle elements as a bonus.
Thank you Big fish
This is a cool game. It seems as it is made for tablet. If you have a tablet computer I would recomend it, with a mouse it isn't so easy. The mini games are the only ones that arn't easy with a mouse, but some of them are required to finish the game. If they make it avalible for IOS or Android I would change my opinion, it looks like it was and IOS game once before when looking up online.
