Fears to Fathom - Woodbury Getaway

Another amazing addition to the F2F series, I've fell in love with these games. They have a really cozy vibe whilst being incredibly unsettling. I like how this episode introduced a fishing mechanic, felt like a nice break from the tension of playing the actual game. The VHS filter really enhances the suspense, the atmosphere is just something else in F2F. These games are so well made and have so much charm, Rayll did amazing work and I'm so excited for future episodes and how they will further develop the series!

I think this one is pretty good, but Ironbark Lookout is better. The fishing minigame was fun, but not as fun as the shooter in Ironbark Lookout. I didn't like Mike, which is probably on purpose; but that also means the general vibe is fairly negative the whole way through. That's fine, but Ironbark Lookout had that sweet spot. For me, horror is more effective when paired with comfort. Switching between your chill lookout duties and horror was very effective, in my opinion. I do feel bad just comparing this to Ironbark, but they are both $10. This game is probably better to buy on sale. If you don't have Ironbark, I'd recommend that first.
