Football isn't won only on the pitch. Behind every champion team there is a director who made the right decisions: the signing nobody saw coming, the coach who changed the dressing room's mentality, the sponsor who allowed building a competitive squad. In FD 27 you don't sit on the bench, you sit in the office. You are the owner, the CEO, the person who decides the direction of the club from the ground up. Here you don't choose formations or give tactical instructions. Here you decide who does it for you.
Every season is a management test. You have a limited budget, a squad that needs reinforcements, a coaching staff that may not be up to the task, and fans demanding results. Your job is to build a structure that works: find the right coach, surround him with the right team, and give him the players he needs to compete. If you do it well, results will come. If not, the consequences will be yours.
FD 27 reproduces the real structure of a professional football club. You don't just manage a squad of players, you manage a complete organization with four departments that need to work as one gear: Sporting Direction, Medical Department, Marketing, and Financial Department. Each department is made up of staff members with their own attributes, performance, and salary. You decide who to hire, who to fire, and how much you are willing to pay for the talent you need.
The sporting director will be your right-hand in the transfer market. The head of medical will determine how your players recover from injuries and how long they take to return to the pitch. The marketing department will influence the club's ability to attract sponsors and generate revenue. The financial area will keep the accounts in order, or not, depending on who you put in charge. Every hiring has a direct impact on the overall performance of the club. A good sporting director will bring you better signing options. A mediocre medical team will mean your players spend more time in the infirmary than on the pitch. Everything is connected, and everything depends on you.
It's not just about having the best eleven. It's about having the best structure. The clubs that win leagues don't do it only because of their players, they do it because behind them there is a solid organization that allows everything to function. That is your job. That is FD 27.
When match day arrives, you have already done your work. You signed the players, hired the coach, and gave him the tools to compete. Now it's your turn to sit down and see if your decisions were the right ones. FD 27's simulation engine reproduces every match minute by minute, with a system that takes into account dozens of variables: the individual quality of each player, their form, their accumulated fatigue level, their morale, the injuries they carry, and the tactical capacity of the coaching staff.
You won't see a static match or a simple final result. You will see how your team wears down physically over the ninety minutes, how a player with low morale performs below his level, how an unexpected injury in the 30th minute forces the coach to restructure the team. The substitution system respects the current three-window rules, and the coaching staff's artificial intelligence makes decisions based on the context of the match: if it's losing, if a player is exhausted, if it needs to protect a result.
Every match is a direct consequence of what you have built. If you invested in a good medical team, your players will arrive fresher. If you signed a coach with good tactical reading, the substitutions will be smarter. If you cut corners on the squad, you'll pay for it when the season gets tough and injuries pile up. In FD 27, matches are not won with instructions from the sideline, they are won with the decisions you made weeks, months, and seasons before.
Money is everything and at the same time isn't enough. You can have the biggest budget in the league, but if you manage it poorly, you'll end up in a spiral of debt that will drag the club down for years. FD 27 puts you at the helm of a club's real finances: revenue from television, ticketing, merchandising, and sponsorships against expenses in salaries, signings, infrastructure, and personnel.
The transfer market is where great projects are forged and where poorly planned ones die. Every player has a transfer cost and a salary that will impact your accounts throughout the duration of their contract. Signing the star everyone wants can give you an immediate competitive leap, but it can also compromise your ability to strengthen other positions. Would you rather have a star and an unbalanced team, or a well-rounded squad that competes on all fronts? That tension between ambition and sustainability is the heart of the game.
Sponsors are another key piece of your financial strategy. As your club grows in reputation and results, new brands will want to associate with you. Each sponsorship contract has its conditions, its duration, and its economic impact. Negotiating well can give you the margin you need to sign that midfielder you're missing. Negotiating poorly can leave you tied to a deal that doesn't reflect the real value of your club. Financial management is not a complement to the game, it is the game.
FD 27 in its version 0.1 includes the leagues of Spain and England. Thousands of players with detailed and position-specific attributes form the squads of the clubs you'll find in the game. A full-back who joins the attack is not the same as one who prioritizes defensive cover, and that is reflected in every player profile.
Each league has its own dynamic. The AI teams compete with each other under the same rules as you: their players get tired, get injured, lose form, and experience good and bad streaks. There are no hidden advantages or shortcuts for the machine. The simulation is fair and symmetrical, which means your victories will be deserved and your defeats will have a real explanation.
The game is designed to grow. The Spanish and English leagues are the starting point, but the plan includes incorporating new national competitions, leagues from other European countries, and continental competitions that will expand the scope and depth of every game. Each new league won't just be one more setting, it will be a new market with different players, rules, and challenges that will enrich your experience as a director.
FD 27 is in active development and will arrive on Steam in Early Access. This means you are entering a living project that grows with every update. The foundations are already built: the simulation engine, the staff system, the finances, the sponsorships, and the management interface are already working. But what's coming is even more ambitious.
On the horizon are European competitions, a youth academy system to develop talent from the age of 12, the possibility of selling club shares to obtain financing, league assemblies, and random events. Each update will bring new features that will expand what you can do as a director.
This is not a game made by a large studio with a million-dollar budget. It is an indie project made with passion for football and management games, inspired by those classics that hooked you for hours. Your feedback matters. Your suggestions will shape development. FD 27 is built with you.

Dear developers, I hope this comment reaches you. First of all, I have to say that playing as a Football Director is something I’ve really looked forward to; having played *Championship Manager* since the Commodore 64 era right up to *Football Manager 2027*, I have—to put it mildly—logged quite a few hours in simulations over the years. That said, I feel this game still has a lot of room for improvement. I’ve only played for about 4–5 hours so far, but I’ve already noticed a few annoyances that need changing. These are the issues I’ve found so far: * When starting a new season, the players you’ve already scouted lose their stats—only a question mark remains—meaning you have to scout the same player all over again. * Regarding match simulation: you usually see 10–20 shots off target, while only 2–3 are on target. * Matches usually end with a one-goal margin; never more than that. * I saw a situation where there was only a 4-point gap between 3rd and 10th place(!); goal difference was essentially the only thing deciding the standings. * The league's top scorer had 11 goals in 44 matches! * The player with the most assists had 9, in just as many matches. * There are far too few goals scored across the league in general (the team that won the league scored 48 goals in 46 matches(!)). These are just a few of the things I noticed after one season. There is a lot of potential in this game, so I hope these are points you can look into as part of the bigger picture. Keep up the good work :)

Endlich ein Fussballmanager bei dem es ums managen geht und nicht, halb-Trainer, halb-Spieler und halb-Manager. Freue mich auf die weiteren Entwicklungen!
this is a good game for the first 4-5 seasons but if you buy a club thats in debt and try to wheel and deal it out of that issue you struggle to find young players between 16-19 they just aint there.nothing no one, nada not a young player good or bad you can buy.im not sure if this is a bug or has just been forgotten about and not added to the game.you could say you can buy the youth setup but if your in debt its impossible to play and survive at the end of the season.you have the internal editor but that in my mind is cheating and pointless if you take on the challenge of a debt ridden club.i hope somebody is seeing the feedback and thinks the same and changes something so there is always a good influx of young players you can either buy or get free every season.i have to give this a thumbs down just for this otherwise it would be a good game.its really the only thing i find a major issue with and would be happy to change this to a thumbs up if this was fixed
1-Görsel olarak fln güzel göze hoş geliyor 2-Sadece 2 tane lig var biri laliga biride premier lig tr ligi yok kötü 3-En önemlisi diye düşünüyorum gerçek oyuncular yok 4-Bence bunlar olmadan pek sanmıyorum biz oyuncular çok fazla zaman geçirmez bu oyunda 5-birde transfer ederken yada oyuncu transfer verirken biraz daha gerçekçi olsa daha iyi olur
I started from Div 4 and played 3 seasons and got promoted to div 3 after that writing this review- Match engine is wierd and does not look to have depth especially shots on target a manager does not play the formation he prefers. no point building your team for the formation he plays all staff in game is useless specially sporting director. Leave transfers to him and you game is ruined as he only recommends to scout never executes Transfer and scouting system is a joke - lot of good free transfer players available all thetime. you dont need to spend a penny on transfers Overall very much AI generated gameplay with not much thought given to game design by an actual person
très gros potentiel pour ce jeu. hâte de voir les prochaines versions. étant joueur FM je recommande!!!
Have been greatly looking forward to this more simplified game, despite being an avid FM player right from the original on the A600 right to date, with reduced free time and a yearning for a more simple quicker played game influenced by old titles such as premier league manager, ultimate soccer manager and LMA manager. Its very early release, but there are promising signs for this game. The overall premise is good, but being early release that does not come without bugs and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. To aid I can note as follows; The start of season budget summery incorrectly reports, figures do not match the economy section and way under quote/project. *There seems to be a lack of goals in most games and across the league in total. *Managers despite having a preferred style and formation, seem to play unrealistically a different formation every game, never seem to play their preferred formation. So have found that I spend time bringing in and signing players to suit our new managers preferences, only for him to never play that formation and then play random players with numerous being out of position. *When the player reports come back, they always say our clubs level is way lower than that player, despite the whole team being way higher than this. Example being, starting with York, after one season and many signings, in the squad screen the avg was around 67 across the team, in the reports it was telling me our team handle/expect players of a rating of 48! *Despite overachieving in the league for 3 seasons and improving greatly all areas in the institution area, the fan status in the club vision area in all that time went from 28% rating to 27%! *Player improvement for youth seems to be virtually nil after first season. *Despite promotions/team and infrastructure improvements, things like attendances/Rep do not really seem to increase. *There needs to be a function where you return from advancing either prior to deadline close or if a transfer offer has been received. It is already difficult to offload players in this game, so when an offer comes in and you are trying to manually click stop and return before the deadline closes, but it continues to proceed and then cancels the deal, again very frustrating. As I say teething ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but the Manager/formation one is the most frustrating. That said the overall is very promising and enjoyable. Wishlist items; *When deciding to upgrade, it would be good to see an estimate of the impact on annual maintenance/running costs or where relevant income affect (commercial and museum) even if just given as a percentage range. *When navigating, it would be nice to have easier links etc, for example, if you receive an email with an offer for a player, it would be nice to be able to click the player name in that email and it take you to his profile screen rather than have to negotiate your way back out of inbox, then squad screen, then find the player and the screen you want. *Customisable view in squad screen or scouting screen rather than various tabs. Then I can select what I see, i.e. contact end date, wage, valuation, rating, age, form. Rather than clicking through different tables within squad and having to find the player. *It would be good to get a pre end of season email reminder re which staff contracts are expiring, unlike players you often forget the staff contracts expire and then end up losing them when the season closes and having to find new ones at the start of the next year. All in all, a good and promising start, keep up the great work and keep the updates coming!
