Farm Dungeons

This is the best RPG maker game I have ever played. Story doesn't count for much since the dialogue is sparse and doesn't have the best English translation but everything else is solid. Relevant gear and actions choices. It's about the right length for what it is. All but 100% in 13 hours

Garbage RPG Maker MV game. English is lousy. Game bugs out for no reason and screen locks so you can't do anything.

I am so happy to play this game, because it make me remember about anime "Danmachi"

I've around 3 hours of gameplay and it has crashed twice inside the dungeon. It's really annoying and threw me off every single time it happens. I like the simple and basic retro art style and the classic turn-based gameplay. The game crashes? Not so much, especially when it happens on the 4th floor of the dungeon.

Farm Dungeons was a fun experience. At a glance, it appears to be another piece of rpgmaker shovelware, but it further investigation will show that this game has time and effort put into it. For years, I thought that a dungeon-crawling farm simulator would be amazing! The closest I have found to such a game is the Rune Factory series, which is really fantastic, but not quite what I have searched for. When I found this game, I decided to give it a shot. Pros: - The Dungeon is well balanced and fun to explore. - The farming is well done, with interesting takes on the genre. - If you like games with bad translations, this is a game for you. I had many hilarious moments reading the odd translations. - I enjoyed the character progression mechanics. Crafting weapons, buying spell books, and buying permanent upgrades were cool and unique compared to other rpgs I have played. - Auto-battle mode lets you grind quicker if you need to. - There are lots of characters to put on your team, giving the game variety and replayability. - YOU CAN PLAY AS THE DOG! Cons: - The game heavily relies on rpgmaker assets, so very little (if any) of the art or music is original to my knowledge. - The story is passable, but not much more. The game focuses much more on gameplay. - The farming mechanic is very limited. Even at the endgame, you only get 9 plots to plant seeds on. Also, since crops are mostly just used for making money (making food/medicine is also an option but I didn't find this to be very useful), you are not encouraged to explore different crops much. Just do whatever makes you the most money. - Short. I beat the story in 14 hours, although there does appear to be postgame content to further explore. - Currently no achievements or cloud saves. I would love it if both of these were added. If this sounds like the kind of game you would enjoy, I'd say give it a shot. It is not too expensive, and it's a nice, unique experience. I enjoyed my time with the game, and you may as well. I would enjoy it if they added achievements and more content, but what we have now is good!
