Far Mining

Enjoyable little game to kill a few hours. Quite polished and progression is good, it never felt like too much grinding. I also liked the overall flow.

I have a theory that when you complete Far Fishing and find the end of the world, you then somehow become a space cadet/captain and that's how Far Mining came to be. While my theory on the lore of the "Far" series of games may be full of plot holes, I do know for a fact that this is another fun incremental by the same developer. I love that you aren't locked into a time limit which makes it way more relaxing and fun in my opinion. I am excited to see what the future brings from this dev as I've seen thoughtful improvements and advancements from their previous game. I really like their style of incremental, and I'm honestly going to be way too impatient waiting on the next game to come out! Also, if my theory is correct, how does the parrot turn into a digital form? And what about the turtle mentioned at the end of Far Fishing?

Petit jeu incrémental de mining qui fait le taf, c'est assez joli, le sentiment de progression est bien foutu - comme souvent avec ce genre, il aurait pu être plus long (3.5h pour le 100%). Parfait pour passer le temps en faisant autre chose.

[h2]Let Us Set Sail... For Outer Space![/h2] [i]Far Mining[/i] is yet another incremental game. This time, we're in deep space, mining asteroids, harvesting resources, and upgrading our ship so that we can get back to familiar territory. Unlike with its predecessor, [i]Far Fishing[/i], there is no prestige system and instead, once upgrades are bought, you have them forever. There are also quests which give you special bonuses when you complete them, which I enjoy. The progression is smooth but becomes very slow towards the end where you have to do multiple runs for just one upgrade. This seems to be a common theme with these kinds of games so it's not really a big deal, but it's still worth mentioning. Overall though, the game is great, I don't know if I like this or [i]Far Fishing[/i] more, they're both fun but very different from each other, but I recommend them both, obviously.
