About
"Fantasy World" is an open-world simulation game that blends deep construction and management with RPG elements. On this continent threatened by giant monsters and alien races, danger and opportunity coexist. You will lead a group of displaced survivors, starting from a single brick and a single field, gradually developing into an ideal nation capable of withstanding a millennium-scale catastrophe
The game offers a rich construction system
Collect wood, stone, and iron ore, unlock the technology tree, and upgrade buildings
Construct city walls, arrow towers, and magical barriers, and set up defensive works against different alien races
Reasonably plan production zones, residential zones, and military zones to balance development and defense needs
A wide variety of hero characters: battle-hardened warriors, magic-wielding mages, and assassination experts. Each hero has unique skills and a background story
Comprehensive growth system: Every hero and every soldier can become stronger through training, by changing equipment, and by upgrading skills
Rich equipment system: Collect materials and craft legendary weapons with your own hands. The higher your forging level, the greater your chance to create top-tier equipment
Dispatch scouts to explore the mist-shrouded continent, find heroes in the ruins, and unearth rare materials
Occupy strategic locations, establish outposts, and gradually shrink the living space of alien races
Restore abandoned city ruins, and seize the opportunity to recapture towns occupied by alien races
Every step in the game is full of variables; no two playthroughs are exactly the same. Your decisions influence the direction of the world
Prioritizing military development may lead to resource shortages, while over-expansion might leave you caught between two fronts. Will you defend your homeland or launch an expedition to eradicate alien race nests
This is not one person's battle, but the epic saga of a group of heroes
Recruit, train, equip, fight
This continent is yours to protect!

I love building in games, and this one really hits the spot for me. Basically, it’s about farming and building while raising troops to fight. You start with just a few poor survivors and nothing else. First, chop trees, mine stones, then slowly open up farmland and build workshops. Watching resources pile up bit by bit, and seeing a shabby little camp turn into a town with walls and arrow towers—that sense of solid progress really gets me. Then there’s the training. Heroes can swap gear and learn skills, and soldiers can be trained to get stronger. You run all over the map to find materials, come back to craft equipment—the higher your level, the better stuff you can make. Forging a good weapon with your own hands and equipping it to your hero gives you a great sense of accomplishment when their combat power goes up.
So far, I've been really enjoying it. The town building is really solid, and i love being able to find and recruit the different heroes. Be prepared for the Zerg rush that happens right around the hour mark. I haven't been able to make it past that yet (which is frustrating). You can really feel the love put in this game, and i hope the developer continues support. definitely worth picking up. there's no tutorial to speak of atm, but everything's fairly straightforward enough if you're willing to put in the effort to learn it.
Lacking in basic features and generally feels horrid to play. For the triple size wall, the one that your soldiers can walk on and archers can shoot off, there is the rounded OUTER piece, as seen in all trailers. But no CORNER piece. So if your wall does not need an outward curve, and instead needs a small turn somewhere to get around the terrain, you're out of luck. It also has 5k hp, the single size wall, in addition to not allowing archers atop, has 1k hp, so you're massive incentivized to use it. Walls are also 3 wide by default when placed. So if you go to a map edge, IE build next to water, you better space it perfectly, or you'll leave a hole that the bugs will gladly waltz right into. No single space piece to fill in the gaps, further making the main point, defense, clunky and counter intuitive. Gates don't close. So enemies can just run in and destroy all your stuff. Feels terrible to watch the constantly attacking bugs just waltz past the open door and come destroy your stuff. Lack of tutorial does this game no favors. Equipping units is tedious and all done manually. So yes, you have to give each individual guy a melee weapon. Only one race, and it's a bunch of burly orcs. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to see some variety, like the enemies. Workers are confusingly called farmers on the interface, leading to early confusion as you're trying to figure out what you need. The only way to see your resource amount is to click on the stockpile, there's no UI element that shows wood and stone, your basic building resources. The game sells your wood, a majorly important resource, by default at the start of the game. You have to use the scroll wheel to find it and turn it off immediately so your idiot salesmen don't sell all your wall building materials. Trees regrow naturally, but they seem to only grow near each other, and there's no dedicated tree replanter. So the placement of your forests can really hamstring you. I don't know why all the dev videos have them building huge towns OUTSIDE their walls. Besides this being a huge red flag-the bugs are attacking literally constantly, so they will be constantly destroying anything outside a wall and turning that into a really, really stupid and incompetent mistake, not to mention an insane resource drain. The optimization is hilariously bad. Turn down all your settings immediately so it doesn't drain your GPU like crazy. This game honestly might be crypto farming in the background, with it's insane load during gameplay. Enemies, that are constantly attacking and finding every hole in your defense, don't show up well on the minimap. So you'll suddenly find your important resource structures being attacked. You can lose your mines or lumber camp at the start of the game, quite literally instantly failing the game for yourself. Food is handled strangely. Instead of being constantly consumed, like you'd expect, workers take 5 of corn only to spawn, then never need it again. Soldiers only need gold. Buildings, especially walls, don't auto rebuild, simply losing the resources for good. Once again, with the constantly attacking enemies always being a nuisance, you're constantly losing things early on. Or worse, losing something vital, and not realizing until it's too late to bring your game back.
