FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time

整体不错的，但是后期逼肝太恶心了。

I am a huge fan of the fantasy life series, especially the first one. I could NOT wait to buy/play this game!!! There are a lot of similarities and it feels a lot like the original game. However, there are some things I absolutely dislike A LOT. The handholding in the beginning is so insanely aggressive, it made me almost want to stop playing. My other gripe, is the NPCs that party with you... they NEVER shut up. I had to disable sound because I got so tired of hearing "Show me what you got" every minute or so.... I also find it super annoying the way my character has to yell everytime I hit a sweet spot (a mechanic in the game that allows you to do more damage by hitting the "sweet spot"). Other than those things, I really do love the game. You have options to work on your main story quests, focus on your jobs, and/or focus on your island and building it back up. The gameplay is easy but doesn't feel like button mashing. Also, there's cats. Cats EVERYWHERE!!! Overall, I love the game and am so happy to be playing it!

This is one of my go to games on Steam Deck, I wish there was a way to group with people online and have more end game content but those are a reach. This game is 9/10 at a minimum, great game!

I played the original on 3DS and absolutely fell in love with this world. This one? It's what the next one should be like. Fantasy Life is probably the best and most immersive RPG I've ever played that hits on everything I love in cute/cartoony RPG's; crafting, gathering, battle, story, etc. There's always so much to do and I have the most fun playing it. Very addictive!

If your favorite part of fantasy RPGs is crafting and/or gathering, this game is a REQUIREMENT!! Fantasy Life was my FAVORITE game on 3ds, and I have been waiting for a sequel for over a decade! I was very worried that we'd end up with a crappy, cash grab sequel where everything is way too easy to be fun (like the mobile game) but this is not that at all!! They SLAYED this sequel!! It is enough like the original to feel nostalgic, but new enough to feel like a whole new experience at the same time. There are little things that I miss (like having your personal house in the city) but for every little thing I miss, there are two new things that I love! The only real complaint I have is the camera. The camera seems to be somewhere between a free-cam and a fixed-cam. You can look around, but you can't look too far up. Then there are portions of the map that unnecessarily put you in a top down view. That part drives me crazy. But I can look past that for all the things they got right :) And there is also a mod that gives you a better free cam if you want. Now stop reading reviews and just get the game!! ♥♥♥

Insanely addictive and nostalgic. I do feel like the first game might have had a slightly more adventurous story although this game makes the life mechanics far less annoying to use.
