This game is buggy, challenging when not exploiting, punishing on death, and no longer supported by the devs. And I can not recommend it enough. This game was left by it's devs as it was a college project for them, and life and work got in the way of it's continuation. The gameplay is short, but incredibly fun. It's also free, so I'd at least recommend a single playthrough. There is love in this game, the devs just moved onto better things.

It's unpolished and needs a lot of work. Tutorial prompt jumping up every time is annoying, randomness of quests difficulty and not being able to reload them is annoying. Clues on the ground are not possible to spot, there is just a sudden prompt to press "e" in some places and you stand there wondering why this place is any special and how are you supposed to spot it in other way than by randomly walking next to it. There should be a way to resupply tools, there is a mission where you need to kill "x" number of monsters using certain ammo, the problem is that that special ammo can only load 2 magazines for you and sometimes it's not enough. Those quests should be done during the playthrough, be part of it, not the purpose of every run because now you finish most of them in 2 minutes and have to go back to town to turn it in, just to start over again. How should I call it? Hm... Maybe... Yup! Annoying! As I see from description this game was only a project, so I guess it won't be worked on, that's why I'm marking it as a negative review, so others won't think they have something to wait for.

Hi all o7 Don't listen to the negative reviews, most of them are ppl who suck at the game and want it to be easier. The game is awesome, challenging and fun. Give it a go I say! LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE!
First 20 Minutes Gameplay Here First things first: Please note that when you are on a run, don't return to town as long as possible. While you would have the chance to restock or buy upgrades, it will reset the run, and you will have to start from the beginning of the stage-run! Yes, there are similarities, just like in the Van Helsing series or Grim Dawn. However, considering it's an indie game, I have to say it's actually quite well made. The graphics are great, and the controls are responsive. The major factor is hit-and-run/roll-away! Big thumbs for a free rouge-like game like this!
