心目中最好的一代辐射超多的支线有趣的剧情让他成为我心目中最好的辐射游戏,希望辐射5能像辐射NV一样耐玩
Fallout: New Vegas is the quintessential RPG in which your actions truly display varying options dependent on your actions. I would consider this game a marvel in the sense that there has yet to be a game like it. With a near perfect narrative, intriguing characters, and some of the best quests (main and side) within an RPG clearly showcases its deserved position as one of the greatest, if not the greatest RPG, a must buy. Though, minor technical issues/glitches still remain, your overall experience will remain a greatly positive one.
Obsidian's Magnum Opus! The Story is genuinely fantastic with both the main story and side plots feeling really fleshed out and genuinely intriguing. Even the different factions have their own unique backgrounds and are never black or whit in terms of their morality or motive. The characters are really interesting and pretty memorable with some brilliant writing. The only complaint that I would have is that there aren't enough voice actors as you will talk to some people that sound like others that you've already met (then again this was a common thing for a Bethesda game even if it wasn't Bethesda who made it). The Setting of the Mojave is both really cool to explore and a slog to travel across. Major areas such as the Strip and Jacobs town are really interesting to learn about and have their own vibes that both compliment each other and are distinct from one another. The issue lies with traversal as running through the wasteland (yes the running is modded in) can feel really tedious and some of the landmarks can simply be nothing like an abandoned gas station that has no value. Performance is getting its own section here as this game is notorious for its abysmal stability and the many crashes that can happen. It's genuinely baffling that a game like this can be sold on steam when it takes a whole lot of modding to make it work at all. This isn't Obsidians fault as they had to use the tech that Bethesda used for Fallout 3, but my god this is bad. This also lead into another point I have which is that any element of this game that was originally made by Bethesda Game Studios is a dumpster fire. Anyway if you are wanting to play this game, I strongly recommend using Viva New Vegas as it both gives the most stable performance for this title and even has some gameplay improvements that brings it up somewhat to modern standards. With the prior being stated, the games visuals are just hideous, even for its own time. I don't know how BGS manage to do it, but their games looks like a complete mess. Even though Obsidian tried to rectify this issue with more intriguing environments and a more pleasant art direction, the limitations and issues of BGS really hold this game back. Sound and Audio are decent enough with the Soundtrack being pretty good (especially Radio New Vegas having some really iconic tracks) and the audio design does the job in terms of both immersion and displaying information. In terms of Gameplay, without mods, this game is a total nightmare. Again, BGS is known for their crappy combat and the Fallout series is one of their best examples of this poor gameplay. I mean they even had to get people from Id Software to help work on Fallout 4's gameplay which is why that game feels a whole lot better than previous titles including this one. I would strongly recommend using mods to fix the combat as vanilla is just really bad. One thing that Obsidian did change was the perks and they offer some amazing roleplaying options and presents a great horizontal progression system. I also really enjoy the way you can tackle quests in more than one way and how they can ultimately determine how factions interact with you. Overall, Fallout: New Vegas is like lightning in a bottle with the many impressive roleplaying mechanics that the game offers. My main takeaway from this is that everything that Obsidian made was perfect and everything that they had to use from Bethesda was horrible. If you are willing to mod the hell out of this game, you are in for a fantastic and memorable experience!
Peak game. Will recommend 100%
