This game is very good. It was very innovative as a fallout game at it's time, and provided an amazing new open world unlike any player had seen at the time. But, this games's story and humor falls short of the story and humor that the other main fallout games (fallout 1 and 2) had and what really made the fallout franchise so memorable. The ending was very anti-climatic and unceremonious, though it was nice to see and play through the game after we brought hope to the wasteland making us feel like what we did mattered. In summary, this game lacks in soul and heart thought it's still a very good game to this day and does have it's charm, but i honestly believe that fallout: new vegas is a better game, as it brings back the humor of the first two games and has a very good story with plenty of memorable characters and locations. So if you are looking to play your first fallout game i would recomend fallout:new vegas, as you don't need to play the games in order to understand the story.

很难想象这居然是2008年的游戏，真挺好玩的。B社的游戏我只玩过滚5和辐射4，起初我抱着不安朝圣这款老游戏，幻想着各种反人类操作和马赛克画质冲击我的大脑。可实际上手之后我马上就被其剧情和独特的废土美术吸引住了，和辐射4几乎一样的操作和键位让它出乎意料的好上手。不得不说B社的祖传键位比日厂如se那种反人类键位不知道强了多少倍。 游戏过程中我只打了汉化补丁和一个别人推荐的npc美化。在经过30多小时的游玩后，我打通了主线和所有dlc还有部分支线，真的是很优秀的作品。作为辐射3D化的开头之作，问题不少但也在情理之中。好比祖传的数值崩坏；联通城区的超复杂地铁路线；断钢dlc的争议；主线结尾仓促。很多问题甚至在辐射4中都有体现，不得不说B社在做好玩的半成品上确实有东西。支线还是B社一贯的高水平；多样的结局和完成方式，脑洞大开的神人剧情令人回味无穷。让这款老游戏至少在我的心中经受住了时间的考验，光芒依旧。感觉玩起来比滚4重置好玩点，滚4重置那个原汁原味地洞太难蚌了，都给我玩困了。 B社游戏爱好者或者喜欢废土捡垃圾的直接无脑入，包好玩的。
this game gives me solid post apo scavenging experience. glad to have an opportunity to play it, again, fallout game still rocks, even after so many years. War never changes.
Even Fallout 4 isn't as unstable as this steaming heap of ♥♥♥♥. Over an hour troubleshooting constant crashing on startup, damn near 10 different methods to make no progress in fixing it.
So how does this game run on this piece of old laptop of mine, notebook btw. I mean the game runs, but when I start new game and the loading screen pops up it just closes the whole game, Idk why, any help? I'm dropping the specs of this laptop if anybody can help, I'd be happy if someone can help with this problem as I've seen bunch of reviews down here of not any help though. thnx to anybody that can help... Sincerly: Mush :3 Yes I recommend for those that like troubleshooting a game that wont work on new/old devices lol...
