Reviews
Fairground 2 is exactly as advertised: A ride simulator. And that's about all there is to say.
Pros

15 rides feature actual existing machines. The machines themselves are well designed.
Realistic response and timing
Customizable programming to create your own experience* *Edit: Tutorial is provided via PDF in installation folder

Cons

Outdated graphics. Low resolution textures, low poly environments and scenery. Clipping, shadow glitches even at highest settings.
Cluttered UI. Unable to tell at a glance which ride is linked without referencing PDF.
On foot locomotion is slow and cumbersome.
Little to see and do once you've visited all the rides.
Lacks VR support at time of review, but appears to be in the works according to forum.
Limited music selection, and some of it feels out of place. No support to play your own.
Fairground will no doubt appeal to people who cannot visit an amusement park in person, such as in the case of physical or geographical limitations. It might even have value to someone looking to overcome fear of heights. But in its present state, it is difficult to recommend without VR support for the fullest benefit, and a sorely needed graphical overhaul. Keep in mind, too, that once you've rode them all, there isn't much else to see. Achievement hunters: Less than 30 min to 100%. Simply operate the rides indicated. What the description doesn't tell you is that this means to record a custom program. I finished after closing safety loops, turning off and on the engines, and opening the loops to end the set.
this game is alright but not really worth 25 dollers for a walking ride simulator that you controll rides as if testing them not really that fun inless it turns into more then what it is now more rides and even watching ai ride them but for what the game is at this stage its not really worth the money but it is a good game if you like being a ride controler watching a ride with no one on it including you can pov the ride as well
good game
This "game" is a bad joke...
This game got boring for the first minute I played it. This game has no point in playing, and it has no creativity, no management, and just a few ride controls. If I had paid 2 dollars for this, I would be cool because that's what it is worth. But I paid 25 dollars for this crap. I have alot of interest in these types of games, but not this. It's boring, and you will get bored of it as soon as you start playing. I do not recommend this at all and I hope nobody buys this game. What were the devs thinking? No wonder nobody plays this. It's crap and it will always be crap. ---{Graphics}--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☐ Beautiful ☐ Good ☐ Decent x Bad ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ Paint.exe ---{Gameplay}--- ☐ Very good ☐Good ☐ It‘s just gameplay ☐ Mehh x Staring at walls is better ☐ Just don‘t ---{Audio}--- ☐ Eargasm ☐ Very good ☐ Good ☐ Not too bad ☐ Bad x Earrape ---{Audience}--- ☐ Kids ☐ Teens ☐Adults x Human ---{PC Requirements}--- ☐ Check if you can run paint x Potato ☐ Decent ☐ Fast ☐Rich boiiiiii ☐ Ask NASA if they have a spare computer ---{Difficulity}--- xJust press ‚A‘ ☐ Easy ☐ Significant brain usage ☐ Easy to learn / Hard to master ☐ Difficult ☐ Dark Souls ---{Grind}--- x Nothing to grind ☐ Only if u care about leaderboards/ranks ☐ Isnt necessary to progress ☐ Average grind level ☐ Too much grind ☐ You‘ll need a second live for grinding ---{Story}--- x What story? ☐ Text or Audio floating around ☐ Average ☐ Good ☐ Lovley ☐ It‘ll replace your life ---{Game Time}--- x Long enough for a cup of coffee ☐ Short ☐ Average ☐ Long ☐ To infinity and beyond ---{Price}--- ☐ It’s free! ☐ Worth the price ☐ If you have some spare money left ☐ Not recommended x You could also just burn your money ---{Bugs}--- ☐Never heard of ☐ Minor bugs ☐Can get annoying x ARK: Survival Evolved ☐ The game itself is a big terrarium for bugs
It would be nice if this game would get updated and not be left abandoned.
super leuk
