Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
⭐ Minha nota pessoal: 9.5 / 10

Runs great on steam deck. Very fun. I'll fully review once complete
I tested this game during the Beta, and I loved it. Obviously, first day, I had to buy it and try it again ! It was super, and it has been improved ! I love the gameplay and the music.
Reviewvideo (german/deutsch): https://youtu.be/dLgtK0SGFkE ------------------------------------------------------------------ [English version] Fading Echo won me over primarily with its gameplay. The mix of puzzles, combat and platforming works really well, while the blob mechanic keeps everything feeling fresh. Depending on the element you've absorbed, both the puzzles and the combat constantly gain new twists. The combat was a real highlight for me. It's fast, fluid and benefits greatly from having no animation lock. Different elemental effects add some tactical depth, and kicking enemies into bottomless pits never stopped being satisfying. The puzzles become increasingly complex and can be quite challenging. While I felt the core mechanics became a bit repetitive towards the end, the game still kept me engaged throughout. I wasn't quite as invested in the story. The world-building is interesting, but the characters and the main narrative never really connected with me emotionally. Overall, Fading Echo is a very good action-adventure with creative ideas, clever puzzles and excellent gameplay. If you enjoy solving puzzles, fast-paced combat and unique mechanics, this is definitely a game worth checking out.
Neat! Some of these puzzles were truly devious, but but of the very many that there are, I only turned to the internet for help with three of them. Whilst they're tricky and often baffling, I found genuine joy in trying to figure out what the game mechanics could let me get away with, and the sense of satisfaction I felt when I figured each particularly troublesome puzzle out would make a smug man look meek. I did get consistently lost, and never really knew how to get back to a place I remembered without just picking a random direction and getting it wrong most of the time. Often I gave up looking and just went to see what else the world had to offer. This game rewards curiosity and playful invention, though, so don't be cautious: jump off that thing and see what happens! Fantastic game.
You know sometimes you just need a fresh experience, after all of the hardcore RPGs and Action games, and ,for me Fading Echo is providing me all the freshness I could use right now. It's colorful. It's chaotic. It's trippy It's awe-inspiring. It's pretty cool It's a new adventure game about this mother and daughter duo that stumble upon some ancient ruins, whilst roaming their wasteland of a world. The Chaotic Gremlin of a Daughter, named ONE (voiced by Samantha Beart) encounters this aquatic spirit thing and awakens to her power of turning into a blob of water... she can also travel between dimensions. With these new found powers, her bad ass mom, and a snarky AI companion , ONE works to uncover the truth about the what happened to the mysterious ruins known as Bastion, and maybe prevent the rest of the world from suffering the same fate. I'm not gonna spoil too much of the story but it's a cool game. It's not your typical action adventure game, it's more like a puzzle platformer with some action elements. I say this, because BLOB MODE is a core mechanic in this game. You can squeeze through gates, absorb other elements for aetheric reactions, carry things around in your aqueos form to unlock new paths, There's a bunch you can do, and every area you enter is going to have some puzzle where you have to use One's unique ability to dimension hop and the BLOB MODE to progress forward. Some of these puzzles whooped my ass, i'm ngl. It's very easy to over complicate the puzzles in your brain, when alot of the time it can come down to factors like movement, alternate pathing, and different aetheric reactions. But once you get a grasp of what you can do, the games starts to click more. The exploration of the game is very open ended, I'm sure there is a reccomended path for you to follow, but if you're like me and you get distracted by your curiosity, you'll find yourself in areas where you probably shouldn't be, but the game doesn't punish you for it. You can solve some of the harder environmental puzzles if you put your mind to it, and if you can't don't worry cause there are plenty of shortcuts around the world to help you get back to your original path. I think Combat is gonna be where the game is gonna be make or break for some people. Not because it's bad but it's not as good as the exploration in my opinion. There's a decent variety of enemies. One can use her water blob powers in combat to crash down on enemies, launch waves of water at them, or cause the enemies to suffer from aetheric reactions which can give her a huge advantage in combat. There's a kick button that you can use to knock enemies into the video game death pit abyss. By the end of each encounter the battle field is covered with ooze and goop, and that's fun! But it's never something I'm looking forward to. I don't mind it, but during my playtime I haven't really had that want to get into a scuffle with some of the games baddies. What I really wanted to do was explore more and find out what the hell is going on in this place. Voice Cast did the dang thing! It was dope to see the The relationship between Vellum and One develop. Samantha Beart and Laura Bailey had me feeling things! Speaking of the cast, it's stacked with alot of notable voices - Jasmine Bhullar (She was cool af as Rahne) , Matt Mercer, Sam Riegal, Liam O Brian, and they all do a good job. The game ends kind of abruptly, but what a fun journey to the end.. or should i say beginning?
Going to give the TL;DR first. This game, even with its flaws, is 100% worth the playthrough. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I'm going to break this down into a few sections: Mechanics The liquid-based abilities One possesses are some of the most fun and unique powers I’ve experienced in quite a while. The base mechanic involves you transforming into a ball of water, and it expands upon that by providing a variety of different liquid types. Jump-enhancing toxic waste, recall-based corruption, and even gliding-focused lava (it makes sense in the game, I promise) all work together to provide a very dynamic player character! Puzzles Puzzles are strewn all over Corel, and are a great way to reinforce the mechanics taught throughout the game. Certain instances are rather simple, while others trust in your ability to experiment with the powers at your disposal, without much hand holding. While I think they could expand further on puzzle variety, I left the game extremely satisfied with what I received. That all being said, the optional puzzles (for extra Aetherfacts) were easily the most challenging and fun puzzles I completed in the game! Combat Admittedly, the combat felt rather simplistic, but to not much detriment, if any, to the game. You’re provided with an ever-growing list of power-ups as you continue your journey, but in theory you could complete the combat sections without deviating too far from your base power-set. That being said, I played on standard difficulty. Take this with a massive grain of salt, as the harder difficulty could easily prove me wrong! (I’ll return to this section after that playthrough) Story While traveling throughout Corel, you’ll be fed pieces of the story through both dialogue and environment. While I could go on about the intrigue this all provides, as well as the stunning writing that went into it, I want to focus on the feeling it gave me. I felt the same rush of excitement with this universe as I did when I first played the Jak and Daxter series. This portrayal of the ruins of a once-powerful civilization somewhat mirrored that of the Precursors from J&D, and that basis has led me to continue to dwell on what this world must have been like at the height of its existence, while traveling through its decrepit decline. Performance What more can I say, except that the voice acting for this game is phenomenal.
Fading Echo has drawn me into the world of Corel since playing the demo during Steam Next Fest. The elemental mechanics add a layer of fun to the game whether you're platforming, beating down mobs, or traversing the landscape. It's incredibly entertaining to figure out just how to manipulate the elements and their reactions to one another (poison gives you a jump boost or fire turns you into a steam cloud to float further away, plus more) Inflict status ailments on mobs during combat by turning into a cute little element ball or kick mobs into pools of elements to directly impact them. What I really appreciate about the game is, it doesn't handhold. I can travel the maps however, whenever, and in whatever style I want to - no annoying quest markers dragging me around. Also there are lots of little hidey holes to explore for chests and the only limitations are your imagination (there are items hidden behind waterfalls!) Oh, and...I love One's hair and the color change they go through when jumping between the realms. Absolutely stunning!
