Not scary but a decent sci-fi Call of Duty-like campaign. Great looking and satisfyingly cinematic. The story was well acted if still a bit janky. Its fast pace an great feeling guns made this a perfect game to blast through in a night. Short but still good fun.

Думал люди слишком предвзято относятся к игре и не являясь фанатом серии решил пройти после всех других частей. Оказалось люди правы - ну говно, а не игра честно говоря.
I only played the Singleplayer. It isn't anything like the first F.E.A.R. game. Instead of focusing on atmosphere, immersion and horror, this game has a bigger emphasis on gameplay. There are many qol settings missing like a fov slider or the ability to disable visual effects like filmgrain or motion blur. The movement takes a while to get used to. The gunplay and moment to moment gameplay was better than Project Origin in my opinion. The ending was rather disappointing, though. If you go in with the right expectation you can have a bit of simple stupid fun with it.
F+ Terrible
While this is no F.E.A.R 1 it is still decent and honestly the actual game play is amazing! the game only getting better if you have a mate to play along with you in the campaign. 100% worth sale price included in the F.E.A.R bundle!
In awe of how hard the series fell off. As someone who will go into the streets to shout about how great and unique the first game is, seeing it mashed awkwardly into a call of duty has been entertaining in it's own way. It's perfectly competent, but no better or worse. If it wasn't part of a larger series, it's just be another forgettable seventh gen COD clone, like Crysis 2 (don't @ me) but with a underutilized bullet-time gimmick. I got it in a bundle so long ago, so anymore the real investment for me is my time playing it. I don't regret the brief time I spent hate-playing it, and I'll likely come back on a rainy day. I'm told it's a very short experience so I see no reason not to take my time.
