Eystrandi

    Eystrandi is a 2D, Norse - inspired Metroidvania. It is heavily inspired by the Norse time period and culture. On top of this, Eystrandi's being a Metroidvania means that it consists primarily of exploration, with a good part of it being combat as well. You will be searching for the permanent upgrades iconic to Metroidvanias, and encountering the obstacles that are iconic as well, anything from a wall that you cannot scale, to a boss you cannot beat will be useful to remember for when you can.

  In Eystrandi, health is a scarce resource, constantly draining, one must use the vampiric properties of their weapons to outpace their own rapid health loss. Thus, surviving is not just staying out of harm's way, but also regaining health through the felling of one's enemies.

   The storytelling of Eystrandi is significantly more mainstream, with the story scattered all across the island upon which the game is set, one must piece together bits found in everything from an everyman's journal, to the very artifacts that one seeks to progress.
