A slow and classic RPG with little handholding. Took me a while to get used to the combat, but once I unlocked a few skills and started shapeshifting, it really clicked. If you like exploring and figuring things out yourself, this is worth a try.
First of, it's always difficult to recommend unfinished early access games, so I usually don't. But as someone who loves nordic history and folklore, I am biased. That said, if you can take this review for what it is, this simple little rpg is a wonderful take on the themes and source material used within. The gameplay loop as it is now, while simple (in terms of combat and interactions/activities), I would say is interesting enough to make it fun. I'm 8 hours (of light meandering) in, and it still feels like there's still a lot ahead, though time will tell how much of it may be gated behind future updates. Trying to figure out how to cleanse the lands while running around as a skin changer, exploring while running some errands, enjoying the sights and sounds, ... All wonderful. And while you can't *pet* the dog, very sad, you can *be* the dog. And that's almost makes up for it. The game of course still has that early access smell in certain areas, some polish in others. Kinda surprisingly, the norwegian translations are almost non-existant, instead using lines from the english version, but what's there seems well written so far. The devs seem to be active and responsive, and the game certainly has me charmed with its current cast and content, so I look forward to seeing what the devs have in store, and to experience the full story when that finally comes out. Wishing them all the best.
Fun!
Nice nordic feel
This game has potential...But it needs to be more of itself and less of a ,,Valheim without building" sort of a game. It's still in early access....but it was like that for half a year and the basic fixes like corrected animations and lack of audio is still an issue that puts of while playing! I will come back to it in the future for sure, but I hope for it to be more of a playable environment and that it gets rid of Outward syndrome by then :/
Прикольная игрулька с потенциалом!
сырейшая игра темно, дома пустые, графика смазывается, даже карта забагована...
Great game with a lot of potential!
