Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

My worst regret with that game was... Buying it. DON'T BUY!!!!
Junk, just plain junk. Poor graphics, poor interaction and several parts are in German only it seems. Overall sub-standard experience. 18WoS was 100% better even for it's age, hell even rig-n-roll is a better game, buyer beware.

4/10. The four comes from the fact that you can drive the truck off the side of the world (North-Western side) and then it becomes a space simulator. https://clips.twitch.tv/CulturedViscousWheelPlanking
"Mom, can we get American Truck Simulator?" "No, we have American Truck Simulator at home!" American Truck Simulator at home: https://store.steampowered.com/app/273740/Extreme_Roads_USA/ This is a laughably awful truck driving sim. It's Euro truck sim from Wish. This feels like one of those Russian asset flips where they rip off some mobile app template for making a Tuk Tuk racer. It really is terrible, but in case you don't know what truck sim games are, they're a really casual but immersive and fun driving game where you drive a big rig around the place to make money hauling cargo. I get why the games like Euro Truck Sim 2 work so well... because they're implemented really well! This is so badly implemented it's comical. Let's break it down. On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers. The game features lazy low-polygon assets that looked dated even when the game came out, 10 years ago, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the mid 2000s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. The controls are sloppy. A lot of control and interface stuff just doesn't work right... like, you know, collision detection. I really am not sure if this was designed for mobile... the game draw distance is laughably bad as you see trees popping up all over the place when you drive a few inches. And everything is ultra low detail with fuzzy low res textures... it looks as bad as it plays. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Extreme Roads USA didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. It has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game didn't really capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for driving 1000 miles, trivial to get, but less than 24 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. Hardly a success story, gamers just weren't all that interested in the game. The poor quality of this game is also reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 7 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Extreme Roads USA has the total ripoff price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. For comparison, the $5 asking price for this game could get you games like "Fallout 4", "Warhammer: Vermintide 2" or "Assetto Corsa". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this.
Crappy visuals, glitchy vehicles/environments, and overall just an unfinished mess. Avoid at all costs.
