ДЦП бомбермен с тугим управлением и медленным процесом. Я бы погонял в бомбермена в хорошем качестве, но увы этот унылый гoвнo-скелет это не оно.
Too slow and clunky. Needs more power ups, needs them sooner in the game, needs chain reactions. You should start with the ability to place two bombs at a time, not just one, or at least get the second bomb on the second level, not about 5 levels in. This game isn't garbage, it just doesn't push my buttons. Everything just feels slow and laborious.
(Got this for free courtesy of the developer's submission to OMEGA Trade - G. Thanks!)
Bomberman is dead! ...or is he?
Explosive Jake is a clear remake to Bomberman, but how does it compare to the old classic? Well, aside from moving slightly diagonally, it's essentially the same game sans the time limit against you and without having to bomb every enemy to leave the level. Instead, you have to bomb the crates and barrels to find the key and exit door. You get your basic powerups of extra bombs (permanent), health pickups (shield and water bottle), extra fire (either the Nazi eagle or Arstotzkan eagle from Papers, Please), and extra speed (Pegasus boot from The Legend of Zelda II: Adventure of Link). Levels include your basic medieval world (knights), horror world (ghosts and zombies), and future world (robots). You will occasionally get flame turrets and spinning saws, but aside from that, there's really nothing else in the 40 levels provided. The banner art on the Steam page is misleading in the way that you see Papyrus from Undertale bombing mushrooms, bats, and imps, which are all absent from this game for reasons unknown. As for the presentation, it looks a lot better than its reference material and is clearly reminiscent of the NES classic. Right down to the TV glare, you might be able to swear you were playing an old NES game about an undead bomber (no, he's not going to say "I keel you"). So, do I recommend Explosive Jake? It's really hard to recommend and something keeps telling me I probably shouldn't, but I do for its comparison to the source material and surpassing where that source material began. If you're looking for an NES classic in an indie format or if you're an achievement hunter, you may feel at home with this 2 hour game. If you're not interested in Bomberman, you may not want to get this game. 5/10 Whether he's alive or dead, he's still bombing!
Bronce

Feels like old good Bomberman, but on minimal settings :( Controls feel wacky a bit, as you need to stay pixel-perfect inside the square to use the bomb. Also, enemies always patrol on same direction, and you even don't need to clear entire level to leave it... No penalty for bombing the door... I'm not saying that it's a bad game, but it's not good for sure.
Explosive Jake is an unabashed, lazy ripoff of Bomberman (Copyright Hudson Soft, 1983). Many lazy "amateur" developers don't pay attention to their obligations under copyright law, and often steal the ideas of actual, real game developers without credit, such as the "developer" here has done. At this stage no legal action has been taken by Hudson Soft against the "developer" here, but it's never off the table, as previous copyright law cases have shown. Putting aside the unethical intellectual bankruptcy of stealing someone else's game concept for profit, this is also breaking that unwritten law of stealing other people's game ideas... you should at least try to do better than the game you're ripping off. Explosive Jake is considerably worse than Bomberman. This looks a lot like they just ripped off someone else's Bomberman tutorial/template for Unity, reskinned it, slapped a Unity screen filter asset on it, then rushed it quickly to Steam to scrounge up a few roubles. It's awful of course, not well made, not engaging, and of no real serious interest to PC gamers. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. Bewilderingly, while the game includes proper audio controls, they don't work!! So you can't turn off the annoying game audio (it's not very good), you'll need to alt+tab out and stop the game sounds using the Windows sound mixer. This is obviously not okay and it's unclear why the developers chose not to bother testing this basic feature. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 7 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Explosive Jake is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
