I love scifi and I love Rally and I love this. Very difficult and very unique.
Unique and addicting
HAVE YOU EVER EXO RALLY-RACED WITH YOUR LIFE ON THE LINE
Man what a game. Spent 200+ hours combined in the demo and playtest versions. Very quickly became my favorite rally/dakar game of all time. The rovers are all very fun to drive and all handle differently + the RCS thrusters add a whole other dimension to your approach on the stage. Crazy amount of tuning available as well, which you don't need to worry about if you're not into that sort of thing as the default setups are more than enough. Love the planets as well, all have a different feel to them and require a different approach.
If you like rally games this is a must buy.
English:
DiRT Rally meets Baja on interstellar lead-foot rush
Anyone who thought a gravel rally on Earth was frustrating can look forward to an absolute masterclass in interplanetary masochism. This game is a definitive buy recommendation for everyone who likes to break a sweat while virtual driving. The Handling: Physics terror on alien worlds Forget the dream of gentle throttle modulation. The game feels like an insane mix of DiRT Rally and Baja: Edge Of Control—just on strange, vibrant planets. The physics are absolutely merciless. You aren't steering nimble speedsters here, but tons of heavy, tuned rovers. If you want to move forward, you have to physically floor the gas pedal into the floorboards just to make the engine fight against the foreign gravity and the sluggish alien soil. Every cliff and crater instantly punishes carelessness with total mechanical ruin. The Gameplay: Between rush and ruin The game offers a brilliant but extremely punishing gameplay loop. While you try to hold the racing line on volcanic ash mud or ice sheets, micro-meteorite impacts rain down from orbit, riddling your chassis in real-time. To stabilize the rig during gigantic jumps, you have to fire the thrusters mid-air. Anyone who spins wild pirouettes right at the launch will inevitably end up as a pile of scrap metal on their roof. A few survival tips from sim-rig practice:

Rig Mandatory: This game practically screams for a real steering wheel setup, including pedals and a handbrake. The force feedback almost pulls your arms out at every crater, while your thumb handles the thruster acrobatics on the D-pad. A genuine full-body workout.
AI Grace Period: Feel free to set the enemy AI to "Easy" for the start. The planet, the lack of grip, and the unforgiving inertia are already trying to kill you every second anyway—you don't need aggressive bots pushing you off the cliff on top of that.
Learning Curve: It is extremely rewarding once you get the hang of it. The feeling of pulling off a perfect drift while the world around you is ending is pure dopamine.
Conclusion: 9 out of 10 blown shock absorbers Exo Rally Championship might look colorful with its vibrant, cheerful planets, but at its core, it's a rock-hard, mechanical simulation that forgives absolutely zero mistakes. A must-buy for fans of demanding racing simulations! German:

Ein echter Ganzkörper-Work-out.
Quite tough, very good, also I'm very bad but thought I was good for the first few hours. Raced like a little speed demon and won the first cup. Unlocked the SECOND of 4 vehicles, and quickly was humbled. I've always loved the spirit of Rally but never felt the bite until this game. It's very fun, and very good.
Summary: If you're interested in the hardcore aspect of rally racing in a game, but want to experience it in a fantastical setting, say: on the moon and other planets, try this out. Difficulty: Rally racing expects much from you. Regardless of difficulty setting, you need to take in account of your rover's weight class, tire type, tire degredation (less grip), speed, and systems damage, all while picking your prefered route through any given course to ensure that you can make it to the finish line alive, ready for the next rally course, and in a decent amount of time. On lower difficulties, you can have unlimited time to scout a course with your Drone, and unlimited restarts mid-race, making this game as forgiving as it can be while still expecting you to improve yourself to the point you can finish a rally course in one go. But if you want more of a rally experience, 100% difficulty takes away your ability to restart a race, and gives you significantly less time to observe the course with your Drone. This makes it so that you are expected to be able to survive a rally course in one go, manage the damage/accidents you experience so that your crew doesn't run out of race regulated time repairing your vehicle in each service point, and that you're familiar with your rover to be confident of when to commit, push, or slowdown to insure you get decent times. While tuning your rovers is a thing in this game, you can get by without touching it. Controls The prefered way to play this game is with a PC compatable dual stick controller, as that configuration is the easiest to manage your throttle and controling the thrust systems that let you use fuel to shoot high powered gas out from your rover in order to better balance it, save you from mid-air mistakes, or otherwise better control your rover. You can play with a traditional wheel settup, especially with the rover class that does not require use of RCS thrusters, but your problem will be figuring out the controls for the RCS thursters when playing with rovers that have them. Mouse and Keyboard is also usable. Time investment Minimal to medium. Early courses in this game can each be done within 5 minutes, while the more serious endurance courses can easily surpass 15 minutes. Events only deal with one planet type for their courses, while series go through multiple planets, the equivalent of more or less doing multiple events in one go. And you do not need to finish an entire event/series in one play session, the game saves your progress each time you finish a course. You can progress to having enough experience to unlock the final rover class by completing 1 event and 1 series with the starter rover class, while finishing in first place in professional difficulty. Overall It's a cool game, though this is more of a self improvement rally racing game than anything, as after unlocking the final rover, what's left for you is getting your skill up to be able to do courses at 100% difficulty or more if you feel confident in your rallying ability, and compete in the daily rally courses or online multiplayer which tends to force you to only have one chance at doing any given course.
