About

"EXIT: ANOMALOUS ZONES (Byilhan Hotel)" is a "walking simulator" and "Spot the Difference" game. The game challenges players to unravel hidden anomalies within the enigmatic corridor of the Byilhan Hotel.
The Byilhan Hotel is the main map and the first stage of your journey. This hotel presents a fairly standard setting, but the anomalies are what disrupt the place to make it stressful. Designed as an immersive experience, this level integrates many hidden references and nods to the streaming world and streamer Byilhan.
Each floor of the hotel presents a unique canvas, some adorned with peculiar anomalies and cameos while others maintain a perfect semblance of normalcy. Your task is to discern the subtle nuances that distinguish the ordinary from the extraordinary, as every object, angle, and shadow holds a potential clue.
Traverse the corridors with caution, as not all anomalies reveal themselves right away.
If you suspect an anomaly, turn back. If you think everything is normal, that there is no anomaly, do not turn back and continue down the corridor. If you make a mistake, you will know by looking at the stage number. If the number has increased, you made the right choice. If you return to stage 1, you made a mistake and will have to start over (the anomalies will be different). The objective is to reach the final stage.
In addition to the main environment, you can also explore the other maps included in the game:
The Backrooms: A plunge featuring rooms based on famous Backrooms levels such as the Poolrooms, Level FUN, etc.

The Abandoned Hospital: A dark and somewhat stressful environment.

The Museum: A map filled with mysterious paintings.

Key Features :
Looping Hotel Corridor: Explore the main repetitive environment of the game, where every step can lead to discovery or deception.
Duration: The final game generally lasts between 30 minutes and 1h30.

Bon jeu !
Just completed all maps! A cool anomaly game with sick bodycam graphics and fun gameplay!
EXIT: Anomalous Zones is a psychological horror title developed and published by SXTEEN that transforms a simple observational concept into a tense and surprisingly immersive experience. Rather than relying on action, combat, or elaborate puzzles, the game focuses entirely on the player's ability to notice subtle environmental changes while navigating a series of unsettling locations. Its premise is straightforward: move through looping environments, observe every detail carefully, and decide whether an anomaly is present. If something seems wrong, turn back; if everything appears normal, continue forward. This deceptively simple formula creates a constant feeling of uncertainty that drives the entire experience. The game's greatest strength lies in its atmosphere. Every location is designed to feel familiar enough to recognize yet strange enough to create discomfort. The environments embrace the growing popularity of liminal-space horror, presenting empty hallways, abandoned facilities, and mysterious locations that seem frozen in time. As players progress, they encounter areas such as hotels, hospitals, museums, and maze-like spaces inspired by internet horror concepts. These settings are not filled with constant threats, but their emptiness becomes unsettling in its own right. The fear comes from anticipation and doubt rather than direct confrontation. Gameplay revolves around memorization and attention to detail. Players must learn the normal state of each environment and identify even the smallest differences. Some anomalies are immediately noticeable, while others are incredibly subtle, involving changes in lighting, object placement, textures, architecture, or environmental details. This variety keeps players engaged because every new corridor becomes a test of perception. The challenge escalates naturally as players begin second-guessing themselves, wondering whether a suspicious object was always there or has recently changed. Visually, EXIT: Anomalous Zones succeeds in supporting its gameplay mechanics. The realistic presentation and detailed environments provide the necessary foundation for anomaly hunting. Good environmental design ensures that players can study rooms carefully while still feeling uneasy about what they might discover. Lighting plays an especially important role, creating shadows and visual distortions that blur the line between genuine anomalies and ordinary environmental details. Recent improvements to the graphics help enhance immersion while making the environments richer and more believable. The game also benefits from additional content and quality-of-life improvements that expand its replay value. Multiple locations provide greater variety than many games in the same niche, and adjustable difficulty settings allow players to tailor the challenge to their preferences. Newcomers can enjoy a more forgiving experience, while experienced players can test their observational skills against harder anomaly configurations. Because anomalies can appear in different ways during each playthrough, repeated runs remain engaging and encourage players to refine their attention to detail. Despite its strengths, the game may not appeal to everyone. Players seeking a story-driven horror adventure or extensive gameplay systems may find the experience somewhat limited. The core loop remains focused on identifying anomalies, and the overall enjoyment depends heavily on whether the player appreciates slow-building psychological tension. Those who prefer action-oriented scares or narrative progression may feel the concept becomes repetitive over longer sessions. However, fans of observational horror will likely appreciate the game's commitment to its central mechanic. What makes EXIT: Anomalous Zones memorable is its ability to generate fear from ordinary spaces. The game proves that horror can emerge from uncertainty rather than danger, turning mundane hallways and quiet rooms into sources of constant anxiety. Every decision feels important because a missed anomaly can halt progress, while a false assumption can create doubt about one's own perception. This psychological approach gives the game a unique identity within the indie horror genre and helps it stand out among similar anomaly-focused titles. Rating: 6/10
