The question is, how well do your marbles work? As it’s been some time since I played the original game, it took me a while to put my marbles back together. To be honest with you, during the original game my brain took an un-scheduled vacation. This time, though, I had it covered. Locks all around my head to keep my brain in, and my marbles are going to help me to solve all the puzzles of EXIT 2 - Directions. EXIT 2 – Directions is a well-designed puzzle game where you have to clear each level by placing a coloured marble on the respective coloured square. As you roll on the main menu, you’ll have to select a level of difficulty; casual, normal or pro. In the casual mode, you can take all the time you want to clear a level. In the normal mode, you’ll be given five lives and you’ll have to clear a level within a specific time frame, which is usually around one and a half minutes. The pro mode will provide you with one life and most of the levels must be cleared within thirty seconds. After selecting your mode of difficulty, you can either choose to play the campaign or the survival mode. The survival mode will be accessible after you successfully clear all five chapters on the campaign mode. Each chapter has ten stages to clear and let me tell you, it’s going to be a brain work out! In regards to the gameplay, the layout hasn’t changed from the first game. You’ll be presented with a small map with either one or four marbles to place in their respective squares. However, you need to be careful how you proceed. This spring thingy will send your marbles back from whence they came! Make sure your marbles don’t touch the bombs, and use the directional (left, right, up and down) tiles with ease as they might send your marbles to an explosive end. Graphically, the game looks good and the control are easy to use. Positives: ~~~~~~~ - Good Graphics - 50 levels to clear - Fun and challenging - Good price point - Great replay-ability - Achievements Negatives: ~~~~~~~~ - No trading cards - Can be frustrating A great puzzle game to have on your game list. SixNails does it again with a sequel to an amazing casual puzzle game of the original EXIT which launched on Steam last December. The original EXIT scored an impressive 85% score from me and was really only knocked down that low because when it first launched, the price tag as $11.99 USD and the game had 50 levels. Since then, the developers have LISTENED to my feedback and review, and doubled the levels offered, and reduced the price to just $3.99 USD! WOW! And now we get more of this amazing challenging game set to a very appealing casual game that will stretch your mind and make you think outside the box! 60 more levels for under $3?!? No brainer! This game is so under appreicated here on Steam in my eyes, that I am even offering a huge bundle of highly praised Steam games of all types for buying this game and showing me how to beat the first ten levels of this game! Это уже вторая часть замечательной головоломки, в которой вам нужно шары переместить на определенные поля. Если у вас шары нескольких цветов, то и перемещены они должны быть в соответствующие поля, что придает игре большей сложности. Так же на арене у вас будут присутствовать объекты, одни будут вам помогать в решении задач, другие будут уничтожать ваш шар, из-за чего нужно будет начинать уровень сначала. Графика в игре отличная, музыка - зачетная. Уровней хоть и не много, всего 60, зато из-за сложности головоломки вам их хватит на долго, тем более в игре присутствует несколько уровней сложности. I've played through this game a few times, and will play it more. I love it! Nice level of dfficulty. Tricky, but not frustrating. I had to restart levels I lost, but didn't have to consult a guide.

Ein sehr lustiges und teilweise etwas kompliziertes Puzzle spiel. Bin teilweise wirklich an der Lösung verzweifelt! Ist ein guter Spielspaß für zwischendurch

Exit 2 Directions is the sequel to the original Exit puzzler game. The concept of this game is the exact same one as the first, you start by controlling different coloured marbles and the objective is to get those marbles onto the correct corresponding coloured panels. The difficulty compared to the first Exit game has most definitely increased and this is the type of game where you really have to use your head to think or risk your marbles being destroyed! There is an element of pressure while playing this game due to the time limit, the clock starts ticking as soon as you click on your first marble. You also only get a finite amount of lives and if you use up all your lives.. well it's back to level 1 with you! This may seem daunting to the casual player, thankfully though there is an easy mode which completely disregards these features allowing you to play in a much more relaxed way. Additionally if you want to play in an even more time pressured manner there is also a pro mode which decreases the amount of time you have to complete each level! So what could use improvements? This is of course a very minor thing but i think the menu could be set out a little neater as it looks a little bit messy and at a quick first glance it's hard to tell where to look. I would also love to see a little bit more variety in the soundtracks as i only came across a few different tracks while playing. Most of the soundtracks are quiet and relaxing which doesn't really suit the atmosphere of the game unless you are playing on easy. A change in beat would be a welcome addition. Overall i think Exit 2 directions is a fun game that everyone can participate in even if you think you might not be very good at puzzle games. For how much content you get with this game i also believe that the price is quite fair. Note: My review for EXIT 2 will appear very similar to my review for the game, EXIT, from the same developer. Why? [i]Because the developer copy + pasted their entire game four times.[/i] It provides little of value to gamers when developers try to get paid for the same game multiple times like this. EXIT 2 - Directions is an older game from 2017. It's a venerable 8 years old at the time of this review. It's a simple "I can't believe it's not a mobile app" puzzle game, the type that's been done a hundred times or more, basically a ripoff of an old 2003 Flash game called "Orbox", the idea is that you push your ball in any of the cardinal directions and it moves until it stops. Negotiate the puzzle levels to run over all the coins etc, touch the required points then land on the exit square. The only differentiators here are a couple of special squares that push you in different directions, and some rather mediocre 3D graphics that aren't much better than the original Flash sprites of the game they're ripping off. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features low-polygon "retro" assets with cartoony, mobile app style shader effects, making this look like a barely functional mobile app from 15 years ago. This visual style is a method that lazy devs often use when they have a lack of interest/capability to create highly detailed, high poly models and instead use shader effects to disguise that shortcoming under the name of "art", or "We made it look bad on purpose", which really isn't something gamers should have to put up with. It's unclear why the developers weren't willing to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets and high resolution textures for the game. It's far below the state of the art visuals gamers expect as a result of their decisions. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. This looks and feels like a mobile app, but I wasn't able to find it on the app stores. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all). Regardless, for all intents and purposes EXIT might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. EXIT 2 - Directions didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. It has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game didn't really capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is "ZONE Stalker", for finishing the first "Stalker" zone, trivial to get, but less than 33 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. Hardly a success story, even the people who own this game weren't interested in it. The poor quality of this game is also reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 110,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 110,000+ games on Steam? EXIT 2 - Directions has the almost scam-like price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. For comparison, the $5 asking price for this game could get you games like "Middle Earth - Shadow of Mordor", "Batman: Arkham Origins" or "X-Com: Enemy Unknown". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this.
