About

You are Max Ventura, an ordinary delivery guy working for Megazon. When a dimensional rift tears through your warehouse, everything changes. You are pulled into Erath, a fantasy world tainted by ancient relics from Earth.
Armed with the Quantum Glove and the powers granted by the Dimensional Guardians, you must journey across a realm of dragons, mutant creatures, and magic.
Recover lost Earth artifacts, grow stronger, survive deadly traps, and uncover the truth about the First Chosen, a mysterious figure who failed the same mission long before you.

In EXD, your hands are your greatest weapon.
Every object reacts with astonishing realism: feel the weight of the weapons you wield, the texture of every surface you touch, and the precision of full physical interaction.
The Quantum Glove grants you telekinetic power. Summon fireballs between your palms, hurl ice spikes, and unleash devastating lightning bolts.
You’ll feel the energy vibrate through your fingertips.
The world of Erath is filled with secrets. Survive traps, solve puzzles, and discover legendary weapons and artifacts, the Minar Alloy Blades, the Wands, and the Timelox, capable of slowing time itself.
When your glove’s energy runs low, these relics become your lifeline against fully physical enemies.
Undead hordes, mutant insects, Dragonids, and powerful wizards serving the Emperor will stop at nothing to keep you from cleansing Erath of Earth’s corruption.
Explore every forgotten corner... and uncover treasures powerful enough to change your destiny.
EXD brings the world of Erath to life with breathtaking visual fidelity, inspired by classic fantasy artists Frank Frazetta and Boris Vallejo.
Explore vast crystal caverns, witness stunning landscapes, and descend into ancient underground temples that will leave you speechless.
The orchestral soundtrack evolves dynamically with your actions, sweeping melodies for exploration, intense arrangements for battle.
With 3D spatial audio, you’ll hear the wind howl through the canyons, the roar of a creature behind stone walls, and the crackle of lightning surrounding you.
A world so vivid, you’ll forget the danger lurking behind its beauty.
4 Hours In - Definitely Worth It
After about 4 hours of playing EXD – Extra Dimensional VR on my Quest 2, I can confidently say it has lived up to my expectations. The visuals are excellent, the sound design does a fantastic job of building tension, and the jump scares are a welcome addition without feeling overused. The elemental powers are one of the game's standout features. I found myself relying on the fire ability for most encounters because it was so satisfying to use. Most of the weapon designs are great, and while the story starts with the main character as an ordinary Amazon employee, watching them suddenly become the chosen one is both hilarious and surprisingly engaging. Overall, I'm having an absolute blast with the game.

Cons

No manual save system. Being able to save whenever I want would be a huge quality-of-life improvement.
No backpack or inventory storage. Carrying extra items would make exploration and resource management much more enjoyable.
Heavy weapons feel clunky. The wrist handling doesn't properly support or convey their weight, making them awkward and less enjoyable to use than lighter weapons.
Self-damage feels unnecessary. Holding a weapon at the wrong angle or accidentally hurting yourself while sheathing a sword can chip away at your health, which feels absurd. It's made even worse by the fact that healing items like candy bars and drinks are fairly scarce, so accidental damage ends up being more punishing than it should be.

Overall: Despite a few frustrating mechanics and missing quality-of-life features, EXD – Extra Dimensional VR has been a fantastic experience so far. If the developers address some of these issues, this could easily become one of my favorite VR titles.

(Played using PSVR2 PC adapter.) This game is a blast! It has some of the best VR graphics currently out there, with lots of detail and top-notch lighting effects. It also has mostly well-designed puzzles. I have gotten stuck a few times, but I have always found the answer after a bit of searching and a little bit of dying. The physics are best-in-class. The way you can interact with the environment is smooth and convincing, as immersive as it gets. Finally, the story is interesting. It's definitely not going to win any awards, but everything mostly makes sense and it provides a motivation to keep going. Now, to the bad: It does crash on occasion. It's not as bad as my experience with HL:Alyx, but I've had a few problems so far. It does really demand a high-end GPU to enable a lot of the higher end graphical effects. Playing on my RTX 3060 Ti required turning down the effects a lot and turning my resolution to 68% (I have since upgraded to a RX 9070 XT, and it can handle this game like a charm at 100%.) The swordplay is typical VR waggle, that is it does not provide a lot of satisfying feedback. The game does not describe some things very well. For example, I didn't even know about my belt and how important it is, I couldn't even see it from my seated position until I adjusted some settings. It's also extremely difficult to interact with the belt. I am also not keen on what the different special weapons do, even after having collected several of them. Overall, very worth it and a lot of fun!
veri nice
Conforme a aventura avança, o ritmo melhora bastante. E aqui começam as críticas. Pontos negativos 1. Acertou a cabeça, derrubou o inimigo, terminou. 3. --------------in English-------------- Extra Dimensional 3 important points before I start: 1 - As always, I only review a game after finishing it. 2 - My reviews come from the perspective of someone who is basically immune to VR motion sickness. 3 - No spoilers. These three points are important to understand my perspective. You play as Max Ventura, an employee of Megazon, a massive online retail company. During what seems like an ordinary workday, things suddenly go completely off the rails and you find yourself thrown into a hostile, dark world filled with creatures that would love to see you dead. The game starts slowly, with limited combat and gameplay, but it improves considerably as you progress. Between creative puzzles, sword combat, and a few interesting powers, Extra Dimensional delivers a decent VR adventure. Now for the criticism. No running. No jumping. We're in 2026. For a VR action game, it's hard to understand why the player can't run or jump. Throughout the game you're placed against huge enemies and challenging environments, yet you're stuck with a teleport system that feels extremely outdated. Combat is too simple. Maybe it works for newcomers to VR, but after spending dozens of hours in Blade & Sorcery, finishing both Asgard's Wrath games, and playing Grimlord, it's difficult not to find the combat lacking depth. The biggest challenge is the gameplay itself. Unfortunately, many times the difficulty doesn't come from enemies or puzzles, but from the movement system. Simple actions become frustrating because of the teleport-based locomotion. Classic VR interaction issues. You try to grab one item and end up grabbing another. Inventory and item management feel underdeveloped. There are items to collect, but not much thought seems to have gone into how players should store or manage them. Sound I enjoyed the music and most of the sound effects. However, the sword sound effect becomes repetitive very quickly and eventually starts to get annoying. Final Thoughts The developers had a genuinely great idea here. The world is interesting, there are some clever mechanics, and several moments stand out in a very positive way. My biggest criticism remains the gameplay. I genuinely hope this gets a sequel, because there is a lot of potential here. Hopefully next time we'll get what should be basic features for an action game: running and jumping. Despite all my complaints, I finished the game. Many times I felt like I was fighting the controls more than the enemies, but I made it to the end. And yes, I recommend it. There are plenty of good ideas here, some surprising interactions, and enough interesting content to make it worth experiencing for yourself. Finished in 7.5 hours. Recommended.
This game is like if Blade & Sorcery, Evil Dead 2, and Myst had a baby. Great environments, interesting puzzles without being annoying, and some good humor. The combat is a bit clunky compared to B&S, but this game is more about being aware of your surroundings and exploring than just fighting. Haven't finished it yet, although apparently the game itself isn't done yet, so it's "to be continued" for now. More of this, please!
Audio immersivo e che ti immerge negli scenari. Assolutamente da avere in libreria.
