EVIL STAR

I bought this piece of s**** with a coupon. I can say i regret the under 1€ i spent. The gameplay it's so tedious that you might as well play it if you suffer from insomnia. I can guarantee almost instant results. I still don't understand the purpose of the semi-naked woman but i guess she is supposed to make the game more attractive. I bought this for the achievements (i am a compulsive achivement hunter) and that's the only reason i have 8.7h of gameplay. Strongly recommend to stay away from it even for a 90% discount. The original price just makes me laugh. Consider yourselves warned!! ;P

From the same developer of Evil Maze 2 that I reviewed recently, this game really feels and plays like something you would experience on mobile (there's only two controls - left click for turning left and right for turning right). I won't lie, the game is arcady and simple seeing how the character sprite pops up on the screen suddenly as you take a hit. There's a paid DLC to make the game uncensored but you can get the patch for free from the community discussions. Collecting orbs to buy new spaceships can take a while and feel somewhat tedious and frustrating as you proceed if you're not good at the game. Apart from that, the game is actually fun, it's not something you would play for hours straight, and more like something you would play casually.

Ну такое себе развлечение: летать в чёрном космосе и собирать сгустки среди камней. Это вся игра. Врагов нет и соответственно стрельбы нет. Имеется некое количество кораблей. которые открываются энным количеством сгустков, собирать их муторно, каждый подобранный даёт единицу, корабли стоят сотни, каждый, апгрейды кораблей стоят тоже сотни. Смысл играть!? Это попросту неинтересно и скучно. Всё что может показать геймплей можно увидеть в первые 5 секунд игры(!). Каждый корабль олицетворяет свой наряд для героини, как бы в этом и стимул играть. Ещё и за длц снимающее цензуру просят денежку, притом что цена самой игры завышена, а стоить она должна сколько стоит длц. По сути игра мусор.

It's a very simple premise, but like the Atari games of old, there is a surprising amount of strategy involved, and it becomes very addictive as you use the points you collect to both unlock and optimize the ships. While it's not going to win any game of the year awards anytime soon, it's more than worth it if you can get the game on sale for a couple bucks.

I got this as part of a bundle and after playing it for a bit it isn't worth the time. The controls are simple L/R mouse click while your ship(?) goes in constant forward as you try to avoid asteroids and collect starburst. Save your money and your time by google searching for the anime images online.

This game is disappointingly, and unsurprisingly simple. It may be an arcade game, but it is shallow and has very repetitive gameplay... with no engaging mechanic to speak of that you can actually control, let alone predict. The power-ups are underwhelming at best, controls are limited to left and right mouse buttons for turning and that's all you get, but they are klunky as hell which the obstacles/asteroids are going to hit your puny and weak ship repeatedly and inevitably. Don't even consider going back where you came from because the way this thing is coded, there's going to be rocks all over the place you just were and if you get yourself blown up with one ship, you're likely going to get yourself killed within the next 5 seconds. No respawn invicibility here. It's an excercise in frustration if you're buying this game because of the nudity and sexual content(which are MIA) tags... you're not gonna find those in EVIL STAR. This garbage is clearly intended to cash in on the new steam policies with as little effort put into it as possible. I'm getting this refunded right away.

You move your spaceship with your two mouse buttons. No other controls. You dodge space rocks and collect energy tokens that you then spend to unlock or upgrade ships. Each ship has its own special ability. It's just a time killer. It gets boring fast. Waste enough time and you will get all achievements, no skill required. For what it is it's really overpriced. The game has cards and backgrounds, but most of the backgrounds are just screenshots from the game and it won't "wow" you with its graphics. You can get much better games for far less, with better graphics, better gameplay and better cards and backgrounds. Epido is one I would recommend. I'm recommending Evil Star only because I got it for next to nothing and there were no bugs. I don't recommend it at full price, or even half-price.
