About
Story Mode:
The game offers a story mode with an approximate duration of 7 hours. Here, you will play as Adam, a real estate agent with a past in the Marines, who must save his wife Eve. She was kidnapped by dark forces when the first of the 7 seals of the Apocalypse is broken and a new individual, the son of the demon, makes his appearance on earth. This individual has deprived a part of the world population of any trace of humanity, which had been cured of terminal illnesses in previous years with "miracles" that had labeled him as the new "Messiah".
The game is an action horror, so you will often find yourself facing hordes of enemies and monsters that will become increasingly dangerous as you progress through the story.
The game features numerous puzzles and riddles that also serve to tell you a bit about the story you will experience.
You will have an inventory where you can collect items, use them, combine them to create other key items or weapon upgrades, but also to generate medkits.
There are 4 different difficulty levels (Easy, Normal, Hard, and Expert). The Expert mode will be unlocked only upon completion of the story mode in one of the first 3 modes.
Survivor Mode:
This mode, unlockable only after completing a part of the story mode, currently consists of 4 different levels where you must kill as many monsters as possible within a set time. The more monsters you kill, the higher your score will be, with the possibility of accumulating bonus points based on the time and the way in which the monsters are killed.
For both modes, you can play the game in either first or third person.
About me:
Hello everyone,
My name is Raffaele Mandese, and I've always dreamed of becoming a full-time video game developer. Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck in my small attempts to find a partner or partners who could support me financially. However, the desire to enter this world has been too great, so I've created this first video game using my spare time and my limited financial resources.
I have many stories in my head to share with you in the form of video games, and this is the first one. It's a bit too long to fit into a single game, so I decided to break it into a trilogy.
You may have noticed the timeline of game updates, even post-Early Access. The reason is that I continue to refine it in every aspect, from graphics to gameplay, trying to make the most of your feedback. Unfortunately, animations in various videos (including the introductory one) will remain out of reach due to budget and equipment constraints that I'm unfortunately facing.
For this reason, looking towards future projects, I hope you can support me, giving me the opportunity to create even better products in every aspect.
Thank you very much to all, and I hope you enjoy this first project of mine!
Happy gaming and stay indie!

It's an indie game similar to Resident Evil or Psycho Break, in which the protagonist must survive in a post-apocalyptic world in search of his beloved wife. I played the game on medium difficulty, and the medium bosses that appeared along the way were quite tough, and there were some parts where you could kill someone the first time you saw it, so it was very challenging. Managing ammo is difficult in the early stages, but after the end you can get a lot of bullets, so you can enjoy the exhilarating feeling of wiping out creatures. However, there were some problems. First of all, it is difficult to avoid enemy attacks (especially boss-class). Once you dodge, you won't be able to take any evasive action for a while, which is often inconvenient as you might get hit again. *However, the main character's leg strength is considerable, and he can fly like a dog with one evasion. I think if there was a good balance between attacking and evading enemies, you could be more immersed in the story. Next is the issue of subtitles. I'm Japanese, and I played the game with English audio and Japanese subtitles, but there were parts that were clearly strange and unreadable. I think this is probably something that can't be helped because I'm just putting it into a translation tool like I'm doing now, but it's also one of the parts that I want you to pay attention to when enjoying the story. Well, it's an indie game, so it's natural that there are some glitches, but the creators took them seriously and quickly fixed them. I think this is something that should be highly evaluated.
"Evil Seal" is an extraordinary testament to the creative genius of Raffaele Mandese and the incredible potential of indie game development. From the moment I stepped into the hauntingly beautiful world he crafted, I was captivated by its immersive atmosphere, gripping story, and adrenaline-pumping gameplay. Mandese's attention to detail is simply awe-inspiring. Every pixel, every sound, every line of dialogue feels meticulously crafted with passion and precision. The graphics are stunning, bringing to life a city ravaged by demons with breathtaking realism. The soundtrack, haunting and atmospheric, perfectly complements the eerie ambiance, immersing players in a world of darkness and despair. But what truly sets "Evil Seal" apart is its narrative depth. Mandese weaves a tale of love, loss, and redemption that resonates long after the credits roll. The journey of Adam, driven by an unwavering determination to save his beloved Eve, is both heart-wrenching and empowering. As players navigate through the twisted streets and face unimaginable horrors, they become emotionally invested in Adam's quest, rooting for him every step of the way. The gameplay is equally stellar. The combat mechanics are fluid and responsive, offering a satisfying blend of strategic depth and visceral action. From battling hordes of demons to unraveling ancient mysteries, every encounter feels uniquely thrilling and engaging. And with each seal of the apocalypse broken, the stakes only grow higher, keeping players on the edge of their seats until the very end. What truly impresses me, however, is the fact that Mandese created this masterpiece entirely on his own. His talent and dedication shine through in every aspect of the game, from its intricate design to its compelling narrative. "Evil Seal" is not just a game; it's a testament to the limitless creativity and boundless potential of indie game development. In conclusion, "Evil Seal" is a tour de force of gaming excellence. Raffaele Mandese has crafted a masterpiece that stands as a shining example of what can be achieved with passion, talent, and a relentless drive to create something truly extraordinary. I eagerly await the next installment in this gripping trilogy and can't wait to see where Mandese's boundless imagination takes us next.
Well.. At just under 6 hours I've come to the end of my adventure slaying demon spawn. At this point I haven't finished the game, although I'm pretty close to the end. I ran into a bit of a bug that seems have completely stopped my progress, so I've just decided to move on at this point. Anyway, how do I feel about Evil Seal? I like it. It's a lot like RE6 meets The Evil Within with a much lower budget. The setting is your typical Apocalyptic fanfare, but there are some nicely designed areas that feel like a lot of attention went into building an environment that would capture this particular scenario. The story is basically that you're Adam, your girlfriend Eve has been kidnapped by the antichrist and you want to save her. Noble. You'll face off against zombie like creatures, demons, a cool spider thing, and several other enemies. Most are pleasantly designed and combat against them feels pretty decent and the gunplay is satisfying. As you progress through the game you'll have the story unfold through various cutscenes and things you can find and read. There are parts that remind me of the Seventh Seal, although it doesn't exactly strike real resemblances to it. But still, my memory does what it does. Long story short, the story is pretty good. It's engaging. You can understand and maybe even relate to Adam's plight. Sound is a vastly mixed experience when it comes to the voice acting, some good and some hilarious. But, I chalked it up to the apocalypse. If it's bananas outside, I can't possibly expect people to come across like a professional. The music is great for the environment/locations, and the ambiance is great. I was really surprised by how good it was. The sound effects for the most part are good, though the weapons sound rather subdued. Combat is rather satisfying, with a handful of weapons that you can switch to on the fly. You can also use some holy water to kill enemies quickly. I used it mostly on heavier enemies and boss fights, and never found myself lacking it. Enemy variety is nice, and they act differently enough that you shouldn't get bored with them. The later chapters do introduce more enemies, and it feels like your taking more of a "spray and pray" approach than a calculated headshot approach. But, that's cool. I've got tons of bullets, and you will too. There's also melee which is alright, but isn't that useful outside of the beginning of the game. Level design itself is a pretty mixed experience. There's impressive parts in each of the chapters, but too often there is a reliance of a ton of back and forth through the levels to find keys/objects and activate them somewhere else. You have a map which is fairly useful, but there are times I spent a long time running around aimlessly because I simply wasn't sure what I was supposed to do or where I should be going. There are puzzles as well, and most are pretty well made with logical answers that shouldn't take long to decipher. Occasionally you'll run into one, like the audio tape puzzle, that went right over my head. While I'm sad to not have reached the actual ending of the game, and I'm somewhat conflicted about walking away from the game after such an investment - I really don't see any other option. The idea of potentially having to redo the Oracle stage is not one that I'm particularly fond of, as I did not enjoy the area in the slightest. Too much uncertainty on what to do until you've found and killed enough enemy to get that infamous ? marks the spot on the map. In any case, overall I think this is a good game. I've been stretching it out for over a week and up until this point that I've called it quits I've rather enjoyed it. But, I'm a firm believer of playing a game until I no longer have fun with it and moving on. I'd rather walk away with the positive thoughts. I died fighting Manticore Christostis(not his real name)'s minion after a certain Eve ate an apple. I got swarmed by firenadoes and some wraith enemies. No big deal right, I'll just jump back in and kick their butt. Instead, I spawned without the Eden artifact and no way to reenter Lucifer's Oracle realm to find it again.

A little glitchy when it comes to the big monsters attacking, instructions a little blur to a point. But overall very much enjoy the game honestly!! Will definitely keep playing and hopefully finish it here soon!
Evil seal is not the best in the horror department but is still pretty fun while also (At times) being boring. One gripe is that i cant pause the game during cutscenes. 7/10
