I feel like No Man’s Sky does space combat (well space period) better than this. Even for the deep discount, it just made me want to play NMS. The story telling is pretty neat but the controls are really complicated and it got stale fast. Just doesn’t hook me. Not a bad game but better options exist at a similar discount.
This is almost exactly what I wanted out of the space portion of Starfield; go somewhere, fly around and fight, get ♥♥♥♥ to make your ship cooler, solve a puzzle or two maybe, repeat. The plot is inoffensive and the game can just be Space Chores if you want it to be. And it's $10 on sale? Hoo ee buddy

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great fun space shooter with sometimes questionable story lines. Easy to get into and great on Steam Deck too.
Played 9 hours in mission trying to deliver the plasma gin and won't deliver. Not the first mission that I had to restart to get to work and I don't want to do this mission over. This is an early access type issue. I definitely don't expect it in a mature game.
Galaxy on Fire на максималках.
+++ Very much tickles the exploration/reward itch. +++ Fun and inventive story, set inside a rich world. +++ Visually beautiful environments to admire. +++ Easy to get into, with little in the way of obscure mechanics or gotchas. --- Equipment leveling system sours the sauce. --- Not as daring in design as its predecessors. --- Shallow, unsatisfying combat encounters. This is a thumbs-up that comes with a large asterisk. It is an objectively 'correct' game to play, and its greatest fault is really to try to play it too safe and too mainstream - when the previous title's guts to be different was what had made it attractive in the first place. The upside is that it makes this one more universally accessible, and one's at liberty to explore to their heart's content with no time pressure. The exploration is by far the best aspect thanks to a world strewn with puzzles and little challenges that give out equipment as a reward, although because the equipment has RPG-style levels tied to them, these rewards can quickly feel hollow. It's a game to sit back into, enjoy the story, and scrounge for all the little secrets. That's good enough to carry it across the line.
Too many 'puzzles' which are essentially finding X thing to put somewhere, you will spend most of your time trying to find a energy cell or a energy dispenser rather than space fights. The main meat of the game, the space fights, don't change at all after the first couple of hours, enemies remain the same throughout the game and so do the weapons you use, the only difference being a simple number increase to stats and damage, making gear progression very dull and a race to keep your equipment on par with the higher level enemies as you go through the story. TL;DR: The game tries to diversify the gameplay with brainless busywork, and the space fights don't change at all throughout the game. After the first hours of play you've seen all this game as to offer.
they have a free demo if you are not sure. its a good looter shooter, there is a bit too many puzzles to solve to get some of the loot and a lot of searching around for the puzzles but you do get some better upgrades for your weapons and ship after completing the puzzles. there is a perk that you get later in the game that helps you to find the loot but I wish they made that available earlier in the game
