Evergarden

Cute little puzzle game, easily worth the price. I wish there were more complicated puzzles, but overall I had a positive experience.

good game to exercise your brain. fun, cool story.

A very zen puzzler where I often have no idea what is happening with the unlocking mechanism but the satisfaction when a puzzle clicks and all the plants combine is great. Reminded me of the 2048 puzzle in its addictivness and basic way of working.

This is a cute game with nice graphics. I can tell the dev cared about it. There’s a light storyline about restoring a garden with a small magical creature guiding you, but it barely develops. It plays like a tile matching puzzle game where you merge plants to grow higher tiers and unlock new areas. The core loop never expands beyond matching and clearing space. There are a few hidden interactions and small surprises, but they don’t change much. Progress is slow and it feels like it would work better as a mobile game.

全実績済です。 いくつか気になった点があったので、それだけ書かせていただきます。 ・歌(スキル)を使った直後にターンを戻すと挙動がおかしくなる ・お邪魔として登場するウサギの移動方向が出現タイミングでわからない(わざとそうしている？) ・高得点を狙うのに必須であるモノリスの効果や挙動についてゲーム内で一切説明がない ・高得点を狙うためにはデイリーパズルを解いてから行う必要がある(ゲームスタート時の盤面が強くなるため) ・ゲームのリスタートやスキル使用などのテンポがやや悪い 上に書いた通りゲームのシステム面に不安な点がありますが、ゲームデザイン自体やゲームの雰囲気は良いと思うので、気になったら買っていいと思います。定価だとちょっと高いかな？

Evergarden's puzzle gameplay can get very repetitive, but it's a nice little matching game to occupy your hands. The origami aesthetics are nice, and I like that it has some stuff to unlock and progress through. I'd only recommend getting it on sale or in a bundle, but it's worth a go at a cheaper price. For clarification's sake: I've played 4 hours of Evergarden at time of this review, the other 6.4 on record were spent AFK.
