Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
An ongoing apocalyptic meteor shower has forced the world’s population to settle underground. As Shell, a feline child who awakens to find her mother missing, you will drill downward into the depths to discover a hidden subterranean world and its inhabitants: tormented creatures with an uncertain past.
This narrative exploration and platform game inspired by 16-bit aesthetics will take you back to the simplicity and excitement of the classics of that era. There’s a vibrant and dynamic world to explore, and lots of peculiar characters to meet and varied puzzles to solve. Will you discover the secrets hidden in the Everdeep?
As you descend, your decisions determine Shell’s route through the depths, from secret caverns to sprawling underground dwellings.
Encounter characters along the way with unique personalities and, sometimes, optional side quests.

Atmospheric pixel art and an evocative soundtrack, with palettes and musical themes shifting from one location to the next.

It's fine
A fun little jaunt with great art and simple mechanics. I played this back at PAX west before it launched and I was pleased to see the experience I had playing the demo then continued to now. Character designs are great, art is beautiful, music is enjoyable. My only critique is that I feel like the ending is very abrupt, one second I was playing, the next, it was credits. Not experience ruining, but did catch me off guard. Overall a solid game, however based off how little time it took me to complete it, I would not advise buying it at full price.
I love this game. Beautifully delivered graphics and soundtrack, with a cute little kitty to boot. Lacking on the movement combo side, but otherwise great for exploration. I thought the characters you did get to learn a bit more about were cute and interesting. I wish the lore snippets we were able to grab tied more into the end and didn't leave me a little bereft of dots to connect, but otherwise the game was fun.

Gameplay: Boring. Very easy and relaxed. No danger or difficulty, just some simple platforming and traversing. You get lots of minor redundant and meaningless upgrades for your drill to forget about straight away.
Music: Good. Enjoyable music that perfectly reflect mood, character and/or location
Graphics: Nicely animated pixel graphics. Especially the cutscenes are very cute!
Performance: Horrendous. Stutters are a guarantee. Reconnecting the xbox controller from time to time seemingly fixes the stutters, but it is only very temporary and short term (~10mins). It progressively gets worse and worse.
Story: Good setting, subpar execution: Dialogues are fine and the writing of the characters is good, but it suffers from a too big of a goal: A simpler more straight forward story with a lot less characters would have suited this short and rather simple game a lot more. In the end, I just didn't care anymore as it was just too convoluted.
tl;dr: lack of focus for both story and gameplay elements, paired with horrible performance, makes it impossible to recommend...
JOGO PERFEITO! RECOMENDO MUITO :D
Everdeep Aurora is a short metroidvania which stands out for its gorgeous visual style and excellent OST. The game feels especially cozy, because there’s absolutely no fighting. It's all about the exploration, so it's a nice change of pace from your typical metroidvanias.
epicardo, los logros dificiles de conseguir pero muy buen juego si sos amante de michis
You can meow.
