è un gioco molto interessante
ESTA MUY BIEN, ES MUY REALISTA
If you ever wanted to know what trucking across Europe for a career is like, this is the closest thing without a doubt to it. I think I should probably say here that you can play on keyboard and mouse, with a controller, with a wheel and in VR apparently. I genuinely thought you could only play this with a wheel. Yeah, it's a bit gimmicky and it can feel like you're spamming ADADADADADAD to try and straighten on main roads, but if there's a will to truck there's a way to truck (or coach, they're bringing coaches as a DLC soon). Made with love and care from developers who are always live somehow every time I check the store page. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't know which developer was like "What if we only used real trucks" but I really respect that dedication. Must've been difficult getting brand deals like this before the whole Fortnite thing happened. The base-game features the United Kingdom, Northern and Eastern France, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Northern Italy, The Czech Republic and Western Poland as base game content. The rest of Eurrope is DLC-locked. This game is much, much older than you probably think, thanks to constant updates the developers improving it's graphics and gameplay, while also fine-tuning areas of the continent and the trucks in order to make sure the game is as good as good can be. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some might say that the game is boring because all you do is drive forwards. But I disagree. The whole map is a beautifully renditioned version of Europe. You are incentivised to explore because the developers have carefully selected some European points of interest for you to photograph (in game camera accessable with F1) and some sight-seeing views for you to explore. This is if you want to 100% the game or just do something with your free time. These can sometimes conveniently be directly in your path, or they can be pinned with the m(ap) key to force the sat-nav to track them as secondary objectives. Kind of how you can do so in real life on Waze with the 'stops' feature. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I assure you there is a space-time scale so you don't actually spend eight hours of your time on one international shipment of wooden beams. You have to manage trailers carefully. There are built in mirrors for your HUD, but I prefer to challenge myself by actually looking at the mirrors in the truck model. These "UI Mirrors" as the game calls them can be disabled by pressing F2. It's a game that can give you nostalgia and deja vu by going through roads that you may be familiar with in real life. It's driving down the same motorway you use to go to work, but instead of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 9-5 you're now trucking and hauling cargo from the Netherlands to Austria or something like that. Although be warned, pinned spots must be manually unpinned or the sat-nav will still recognise them. Yes, I've run in circles because of this.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The game keeps you on your toes by forcing you to obey local law. Fines for speeding are TOUGH. Fines for not having your mandatory break are CONTINUOUS until you finally do it. You have to go through border patrol sequences if you want to go cross-country. Signs can magically reduce their speed and offload a fine of five-thousand euros for speeding 30kmh faster because one patch of road cuts between 80, 50 and back to 80. You can catch random events that throw you off. Roadworks, traffic, etc. To be honest, it is not as detailed or complicated as it could be, but it does breathe some life into the world. Car AI is well designed. It can overtake you if you're slow, give priority (though that may be me misinterpretting my ♥♥♥♥ driving and the AI fearing for it's life), etc. One specific funny anecdote in another game that I have is that in GTA IV the AI will rage at you if your waiting behind a red light (In the new steam edition anyways, I don't remember if it's like this on the old version). That's not a problem here, you're actually recognised as a driver and the AI wait patiently behind you at the stops. No unnecessary crash. (Though you will still find reasons to hold down the h(orn) key! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The HUD the game provides is fantastic at conveying information concisely but can be disabled with F3 if you want to only rely on your speedometer and sheer skill at memorizing layouts (but beware that the HUD may mirror depending on what side of the road your vehicle is suited for. This is mainly an issue for swapping between trucks made for the UK and trucks made for literally the rest of Europe. Or at least, it happened to me for some reason.) The HUD can also be adjusted to display certain pieces of information or hide them. F1 opens a menu with speed rules of the country you are in, as well as some options such as "Photo mode." You can make a custom radio station if you have the songs already downloaded to your PC. It's a folder in the files that you can place them in to make them work. The devs are aware and did it intentionally. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I cannot say much about the "Owning a trucking company" aspect because I am too poor even in game (some things never change) but there are also 'Quick Jobs' which are basically deliveries which are financed by the game but at the expense of having to use random trucks. I am not someone who is experienced with trucks, but it is a game that caught my eye a long time ago because it was radically different to what I usually play. I'm glad I finally decided to get it. I highly recommend this game. If you'll excuse me, I have a shipment of peas to send to Romania.
It is a simulator of trucking in europe but the second time
