About
Etherborn is an elegant leap in the gravity-puzzle genre; an environmental puzzle platformer built on exploring and understanding gravity-shifting structures.
You are a voiceless being that has just been born into a world where a bodiless voice awaits your arrival. As your first thoughts emerge, you realise your journey has just begun. You must reach this ethereal voice to fully understand your own existence.
In this world, the laws of physics behave in a way that will bend your imagination. You experience gravity perpendicular to the surface you are standing on, allowing for creative exploration possibilities in environments carefully crafted as navigation-based puzzles.
Travel through beautiful and exotic sceneries where each level is an organic puzzle that you need to explore, manipulate and shift your gravity on in order to decipher the way forward.
This game is best played with a gamepad.
Гравитационные шарады
Не мужик, не женщина. Не пол и не потолок вот про что эта игра)
TLDR: This is a fun game. But it is extremely short given it's price. It took me ~2 hours to finish the game, and about the same time again to complete New Game+, which is the same levels but slightly different puzzle solutions. It has great visuals, audio & atmosphere. The puzzles are great, the controls & physics are intuitive. They've even added auto-run and skippable cut-scenes for quality of life. The "story" is terrible and irrelevant. It's just dialogue that you'll end up skipping over; it feels like it was tacked on. So I did have fun, and enjoyed the game. But I played through the game and NG+ with all achievements in under 4 hours (despite what Steam says it took, due to playing offline on the Deck). Worth a play, but definitely not at full price.
Short puzzle platformer that does not overstay it's welcome. The music is nice and relaxing to compliment the art style. Total play time is about 4 hours if you do new game +. Would recommend if you want a game to spend the afternoon with.
This is one of greatest game runs beautifully on Steam Deck, highly recommended.
Gravity bends dreams Soft impossible worlds unfold Wonder finds its path
With it on sale, I'd say it is totally worth it if you like calm platforming. Just a simple 3D platform game with minor puzzles of finding the orbs and putting then in place. The play on the gravity is what really throws it for a loop. What was the wall is now the floor so you can jump to some other platform. Time wise, I beat the first mode in under 2 hours. The new game+ just shifts the positions in which the orbs can be found, so it takes a little extra searching, maybe even a bit of back tracking. However, the puzzles are still technically the same, so the wall you rounded out last time is there this time. Took just over an hour and a half to complete that. So, under 4 hours and you can complete both difficulties including credits.
Feels like a demo, made for some goverment subsidized project. Credits are almost as long as the game. It's funcional pice of software with nice music, but i don't recommend paying for it.
