I got a message right at the get-go that this game doesn't like "Intel based systems and will probably crash from time to time".....why didn't they state this in the game description before I bought it!? Anyway, that was certainly the case, as I had to restart several times, reduce the sensitivity and resolution, etc. but once I got it going it is truly a great, though short game with cool underground scenery and intuitive puzzles that are fun to solve.
It took me and my two friends a whole 29 minutes. Yea, we're either incredibly big brain, or this was INCREDIBLY short! We solved it in half the time estimated by the description! Maybe grab it on a sale if you wanna solve two rooms for 30 minutes, one time, with up to 3 of your friends.
Two puzzles... Only two puzzles. We finished the entire game in 14 minutes... I understand the low price, but this is beyond unacceptable.
This one is tough to judge. This really is exactly an escape room as you would visit offline. For that, it works reasonably well. However, this calls itself Escape Quest, and as such creates the expectation of more than just one room. I think, the game description should be more forthcoming in regards to what the player should expect. I played this alone, but it is supposed to be played with multiple players. I think that might be somewhat confusing here since the player does not seem to have a display model. I base this on seeing shadows for objects I held but not for "myself", and I won't investigate ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So, to recommend or not to recommend: • If you'd like to play a short escape game alone: recommended; 20-90min playtime depending on your skill level • If you'd like to play an escape room as a group: conditionally recommended; expect weird floating objects • If you'd like to play a puzzle game with lots of different and deep puzzles and/or a story that will pull you into its lore: hard pass In sum, I cannot generally recommend this, although I will not request a refund despite being fully done after way less than an hour, including input remapping.
The game is light and fun as a quick cooperative puzzle 🧠🧩, but it lacks a clear ending. We finished everything suddenly without feeling any real closure — no final scene, no indication that we completed the mission. It was a short experience, but it really needs a better way to wrap things up.
1.70 for a game with two puzzles which can be done with ur friends in under 30 mins. Bought it because i knew if the average lobby iq was below 50 it could be fun and challenging, and i came being correct. P.S. I played solo
