Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really enjoyed this. It took me back to playing Paper Mario but added its own flavor. I played on normal with default settings and found it challenging but fun. I would recommend this if you liked Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door or just turn-based RPGs with actions commands in general.
If Paper Mario and the Tuesday Next series had a baby video game and named the Lego games as the godchild. This was an A+ game. Everything from the story and gameplay to soundtrack were well designed. I always appreciate a game that rewards my curiousity, and Escape Ever After delivered. Whether it was a hidden item behind a bush or blowing out a fire and getting an achievement, it was consistently rewarding to stumble over hidden secrets!

Really great story and the game play was really fun. Each level offered different challenges. Highly recommend this game.
good game inspired by paper mario
+Incredible Soundtrack +Quality, Excellent Paper Mario-like game. The level design is impeccable. The World is beautiful. The gameplay is simple, yet exquisitely, elegantly nuanced. + It learned from Paper Mario and Paper Mario TTYD, and added a lot of QoL from those games. + Characters are likeable. Writing is endearing. + Overall a very well done game SLIGHT SPOILERS: - If this was a Paper Mario, There's an equivalent of 5 Chapters + Prologue intro. One of the Chapters is inflated by being half of it fights (Like Glitzville from TTYD sorta, so I guess it counts like a chapter) - Chapter 4 has no midboss - No cooking like Paper Mario games My only real negative is that the game needs more content, because the current content is amazing. It would've been ideal to have at least 2 more chapters, 1 more partner, and cooking. it would've been Indie GOTY and rivaled Bug Fables. For me, the lesser amount of content puts it at a second place against the other indie of the same genre. Regardless, incredible game. Even with the content not being as long as the classics or Bug Fables (7 chapters + lots of post-game), I still clocked 46 hours for full completion. Absolutely recommended.
It's Good!
really goood game
Huge recommend to those that like paper mario inspired games!
This is a good game for me . A solid 7 out of 10. The collectables were not too difficult to collect. The enemies were nice. The cast is great. I just wish it felt a bit more open world rather than restricting you to do certain quests and activities first in order to progress the story. It was a small team so what can I say. a solid chill and relax game for sure.
My favorite game of the year! :) I had so much fun. Please make a sequel. ♥️
